for anybody who is worryed about braked the small joiner on the intake joiner you dont have to take it off just remove the silencer on the side on it its very easy an you wont brake anything i myself have broke 3 or 4 of the connects just trying to get them out an replace the first one i broke trust me when i say there very weak after age an brittle this video is very help ful as he suggests warm it up first , but what if your rx8 like mine doesnt run you cant warm anything up an its all very tight an brittle then his is your option remove the intake silence on the side of the intake hose an mint
It really depends what one your choosing to go with, Genuine MAzda coils are good, but if you want to go LS/D585 coil then i would recommend the new coils from Black Halo Racing.
Essex Rotary I 2nd that notion! BHR coils are pretty much hands down the best coils for RX8s. They’re like $400 US, but made specifically for the 8 and should last longer, with better performance, and no retrofitting like most LS coils.
Most of our Cars run Black Halo Racing Coils, However we have also been testing our new M-Spec Coils (OEM specification) on one of our cars for an extended perior prior to releasing them for sale. We also have some AEM IGN-1A SMART coils running on one of our FD's being used to test out new ignition harness for that application.
if your talking about the airbox removed from the pipe it connects to, then we recommend warming up the engine bay first by running the engine with the bonnet (hood) down. this makes everything softer and more supple when working on it.
Thata what we are here for... helping you rotary guys out with advice and guides from people that have done it for years. not just your average jo thats done one install.
Great video as always Essex! I think the cartoon finding Nemo was based upon 10mm sockets getting lost :P
Maybe I shall name all my 10mm's "Nemo"

Thank you.
You're welcome!
That is funny. The 10mm socket is always needed. Then you got to dig around for it.
Always needed but never there.
I would probably going to replace 1 by 1
Replace all 4 in one go, its the best way.
Leading fwont wowder, Trailing rear wroder,...LOL
