- The last in our series on this epic driveway in Liverpool.
On this episode we are pointing with the new Flowpoint FINE in charcoal. We are finishing with a few details like the driveway threshold in tarmac, a step repair and laying some setts to retain the soil.
We finish off with the completed images and look back at what was there previously.
What a change…..what a privilege to bring this beautiful stone back to life!

I must admit when I seen how the stones looked before the work was started I was sceptical that you could make a decent job of it but the finish is awesome! It’s not easy but amazing when laid right & pointed up 👌
Theres an unwritten law between men and that is that a real man a true master at what he does will do his job to the best of his ability no matter what or how he feels within with no exceptions.
A man who learns how to become a master at his trade he also learns to master his emotions.
True character is something that makes a person predictable but true character is also something in which allows a person not necessarily with the most skill to win the fight.

Really enjoyed this series, like a little TV show, captures the hard graft. So pleased you reused the York stone, you couldn't buy better than what he had. Would be nice to see this after few months well weathered in one day.
Thinking about the history of people that have walked through there and laid the stone. I often think what they did with limited tools, like those huge stone pillars at the front for example. They did so much on a large scale with timeless design.
