You hit the epic first then the TM. I would do a second set of 5 each just to confirm variance. Being that you were probably getting in a grove once you got hitting the TM.
Mike for me dispersion is key not distance - especially at the course that I play... will be ken to test those two and the Ping G425 out and see what comes up the winner!

Hello Mike! I am writing to you from Quebec Canada! Still a little bit of snow but soon on the field! I just bought SIM 2MAX and tried it 3 time on simulators and omg what a difference from my RBZ Driver :) I wish i had your club speed 111 wow but i am 56 and back surgery i still got it to 275 carry but most of all so forgivable! I could say i missed hit 3 times out of 10 hits and still 90% of the time right on the fairway!!! I also bought SIM2 MAX 3 Wood and hybrid 4-5 i kept my RBZ Irons cause i do very well still with them! Maybe next year i will be all over SIM2! Thank you again for this great video as usual and your fairness in your evaluation and precise descriptions of all the clubs you analyse! Continue the Great Work! Truly Frankk
This is great. I would like to see you have both of the drivers dialed in for you. Like adjust the callaway down a degree and place the weight more towards the toe so you can hit those fades and the flaten the lie angle on the TM? I don't think that you are a stock golf club person.
you need a tour sleeve to flatten a TM driver - the stock position is as flat as it gets - all adjustments either adding or subtracting loft (opening/closing face) all increase the lie angle as it moves towards the Upright setting - I agree about reducing the loft to 8 degrees - it would knock 300 spin-off and it would be a killer setup - I'm actually thinking about this driver for 2021

To be frank, so don;t call me shirley...but the right shaft is more important than these modern heads! 60gr vs 70gr is a big difference as well as flex. For me, FEEL and WEIGHT is far more important than distance...
Was the Epic Max LS forgiving enough for a mid handicap player or would you go sim? Also what is your handicap if you don’t mind me asking? You seem to be a VERY good ball striker!
You should play around with shafts and lofts with the SIM 2 for a video. I feel like if you raise the launch a few degrees and reduce spin to 2200...it'll be stupid consistent bomber for you.
Is there a club length difference? Seems like the TM setup just suits you a little better is all. Spin, launch, carry, distance are all pretty similar, not much in that.

That's why I bagged the titleist tsi3 best looking driver released this year in my opinion. I was going to wait until all these releases came out but I'm glad I haven't. I would like to have a go with cally speed or max ls but nothing else what I've seen would interest me in the slightest
@@wnfakind9197 I'm a confident ball striker and had the ts3 before and the tsi3 is way better for forgiveness and mishits for sure. I even demoed the tsi2 which is bigger and meant to be more forgiving and honesty I found no difference in numbers at all. I went for the smaller looking and better head the tsi3 it's outstanding in every department
Looked like you had better swings with sim max, maybe you should hit more for a better representation of actual accuracy, I wanted to see where the ball impacted the club face
Just got fitted for the SIM 2 Max. Tried the Callaway but it felt lighter than the TM. The ball felt solid off the face of the TM and dispersion was better. Drives were 15 yards up on my Ping G410 and just as good dispersion wise.
I tried 6 drivers during a club fitting and at the end, My fitter basically said, take your pick between the Epic Max and the SIM 2 Max, you wont go wrong with either. I chose the SIM 2 Max by Taylormade, but only because I have a set of TM Hybrids otherwise I would have flipped a coin
I know they are both “Max” woods but it’s not really the best comparison. Sim 2 Max should be compared to the Epic Max LS and the normal Sim 2 to the Epic Speed.
What are your speeds if you really go after some. Would love to see you really go after some to see how far you can not them. Your swing looks awesome and I'm sure you could rev it up to about 116 -120
I had the m2 bought the sim 2 max absolutely no difference. Actually m2 longer distance and straighter..nor sure where all these people are saying sim2 max adds more distance absolutely hog wash

I hit the Callaway much better than the Sim2. But I believe it was the shaft that made the biggest difference since both drivers had different shafts.
I wasn’t expecting to hit the Callaway better but that’s what happened. The ball just flies straight and true

Shaft will always play a big part in dispersion....different shafts most likely.

I have an Epic Max and I honestly prefer the B21 Bertha instead. Way more forgiving and 30-50 yards more. Straighter too.

Sim 2 Max custom fit and hot melted, is the best driver I have hit the past 5years. Bar none.

Callaway Epic Max for me. I have been fitted for it. I could not look down at the TM Max. Looks to funky to me. Plus not a TM fan.

Exactly the same for me except I play Callaway irons so I went with the Max, loved both drivers, hard choice

Problem is that 5 strokes are statistically completely inaccurate for getting results... But you mention that yourself.

I like the comparison, but from what I’ve seen on spin rates I think the Epic Speed is a better comparison to the SiM Max.
TaylorMade makes some great performing drivers but for me, they just look cheap (which they clearly are not)

Ping g 425 all day. Both these companies making junk. Driver goes dead in 2 years. Maverick last year tons of cracking problems
