Your models are extremely helpful, especially for those of us who enjoy an analytical and logic based approach to taking in new information - especially for something as nebulous and squishy as style. So no need to be apologetic Rita! Love the content you are putting out. You are an excellent teacher.
Right now I'm in a phase of exploration. I had a new insight that I haven't allowed myself to look as intimidating as I desire, and I still might feel unhappy with how "friendly" I look as I'm in a stage of my life where I don't really want to be approachable. I've been exploring different makeup looks and thinking about adding more serious shoe options -- an area of my wardrobe that I've neglected thus far.
Rewatching this video again and it’s like it’s made for me! I’ve been struggling with the growth phase because I’ve been buying new items without actually reflecting on the results.

I am loving this presentation🥰 I got to the part when you were riffing on the wildflower theme, and I had to stop and really think about being a wildflower. I think a wildflower can dress in any color, but always with a steady green background. Also, she is attractive to bugs and animals, not for her looks but for her inner practical worth- she feeds them or whatever. Also, she is well suited to “normal” occasions but not galas. I hope I’m coming across clearly. Any way, I think I’m finally building a Rita-like framework for my style. It’s a framework that lets me feel great about my good aspects and desires, and not focus on things about me that I’m not comfortable with. At first I was really intimidated by the Style Key approach because I’m not so good at introspection, but I’m growing to really like it. I’m super glad you make diagrams for everything- they really help me. Best of luck during your maternity leave. Such challenges and joys!
So I just learned that the Wildflower is a left-down archetype and not connected at all to what I was thinking about earlier. So embarrased😬 But still, loving your videos and advice
I really needed this today, amethyst key left up, been working with lady hermitic but feeling something is missing and attracted to siren, really loving this flowing journey I’m definitely in new awareness insight
I think I'm in the insight phase leaning towards the exploration. I'm trying to work with some of the key words for the Amerhyst Key, it's quite a challenge but I can't wait to see where it takes. And yes for the shopping advices, please!
I have really been loving your content, Rita! It has been so helpful in gaining clarity on why I feel drawn to certain styles and elements over and over again, while some other things I just couldn't seem to make them work for myself. Thank you so much for this fascinating analytical approach to fashion. It really has been a huge eye opener to me! Also I would really appreciate an in-depth video on the keywords (especially for L+D, since that's what I identify as). I feel like the keywords are very helpful, but can be a bit hard to grasp sometimes, so some more examples on this would be great. :)
A video about shopping would be really helpful, I struggle with every detail you mentioned, it's one of my biggest obstacles. I'm in the insight stage. I've been unsatisfied with my style for a long time and had to put other things first. This style journey model is so comforting to me because there's no expectation for my progress to be linear. I don't have to view moving into a previous stage as a failure (Integration into Insight) or rush myself forward to succeed. The emphasis on bringing awareness to my needs in the present helps take me out of that mindset. Your advice here 1:03:48 spoke to me, and how you addressed the fear of a cyclical process here 9:48. I don't have to think of success as a distant end point when my style is finally good enough, I can appreciate the many small wins of working on my style and learning about myself now, I love that.
Thank you for this! I'm super curious about the course and just started looking through the beautiful site and PDF. I'm wondering if you have an estimate of how much time per week I should be prepared to carve out? I saw the exercises are 30-120 min/wk, but I don't think that includes calls and such. I want to make sure I can do it justice before I sign up! ^_^
Thank you for asking! The calls are 1 hour. we don't have a call every week and you don't have to go to the calls if there's a time crunch. I think shopping can take more time some weeks so that's what I would think about but there are only a couple of shopping weeks. many of the exercises can get done in the time you have. For example if you're going to make a moodboard you could of course spend five hours on it but if you've got an hour that's enough too 🌸 they are designed to fit into your life
Please dissect the Model Off Duty look and what makes it look so cool for the Keys. Since models can be any body type, it would really help to visualise.@@StyleThoughtsbyRita
Hey Rita I wanted to ask. I am wondering if you are no longer offering GG/typing for all those who join leap or if there is a discount for GG for those who join the leap, thanks!
Hi there! yes to decrease the price of the course I took away the 1:1 call. If you're not sure about your style key but you want to participate, just email me and we will work something out :)
Is it just my iPad or is there an issue with the video? The audio is out of synch with what Rita is saying and she momentarily freezes all the time. I can still watch is but it’s disconcerting. ???
Loved the way you approached this! Also how you suggested an Icon version as "elf maiden business lady", I felt like that could be me! 🧝🏼♀I think I'm in a growth phase but also getting a sense of moving into the integration phase. I feel like a lot of things have clicked for me and I can easily put together outfits that I love most of the time. That's an excellent feeling, but all the phases are important!

Such a fun and helpful stream! I would love to see future streams about shopping, especially online.
