Update: Lots of people are saying you can now do the raids by joining other people, which may be part of the newest software update. Previously you could not do this, but apparently now you can.
Those don't appear, all I get is 5 star 'event' raids taking half the list with 4-5 star pokemon on the bottom half... Gotta meet the condition for 6 star somehow with more hosting.
People have decompiled the game and it's still so hard to be sure what's going on. If I was game freak I might arbitrarily change the rules just to screw with leet hax0rs.
Answer: Do the post game gym re-battles, do the tournament, get a call, do a bunch of 4 and 5 star raids, get another call and you open up black glowing raids. Holy hell 2 minutes max for this.
I unlocked 6 star raids after 5 5-star raids. Idk if that’s the official number you need or if It differs from other peoples game or if you need more/less. Honestly try doing 5 raids and if doesn’t work than it might need more.

I got the call about raids and have been hosting them all day, done about 16 raids total, all 5* and have not yet gotten the call about 6* raids. As far as I can tell I dont even know if Im making progress towards this. Is there a way to double check that I even got the call from Jaqc to see if Im making any headway?
That call isn’t the call you need for the 6 stars, I think it just increases the odds for 4 and 5 star raids you get a call after that which unlocks 6 stars

You can join 6 star and 7 star. Without finishing story by joining friends group through link code

You dont have to do the first 6 Star raid to unlock the charizard. I completet the 10 5 Star raids and got a charizard raid

Depending on the ev’s, but for 5 star raids you will win most of them with a weakness to your legendary somewhat easily

Under 10 for me. Was a mix of 4 and 5 star, could be less if you do all 5 star, could be more if you do all 4 star. Doesn't take many at all.
