Every time your gonna do bdm or jtag, does it need 12v power supply? I though the ktag (tuner) will power up the ecu? Just ordered ktag, kess, and fgtech v54 and BDM full aluminum frame. still waiting for it. What should i provide to buy next besides laptops?

Dont know if you got my last message, but although I have KESS & Ktag, i dont have that lead with the 3 Switches on, was wondering what that lead is called and whether you know where I can get one, however, in my kit I do have a similar device that has a Toggle switch on it which I can email a picture to you and was wondering and perhaps hoping that the device I have will do the trick
Just unlock it with ktag...that lead is just a homemade adapter...can h & L and OBD GND and +12v connected,thats all you need.The switches just switch power to pins 87? and 92?
How can i check lock/unlock status of simos ecu, ecu is on bench, so, no obd connection on vehicle is possible? my idea is to first connect ecu with bench obd cable with kess and make ID, i´am right? many thanks

Did you solder resistors? or just connected to end of the test probes ? as long wire has resistance too

you use 470ohm or 560? In fgtech did 560 but kess did 470.. thanks
