The 5th century!!!!??? You must live “across the pond” because you can’t find anything THAT old here in the states. I’m glad you liked the video though & yes I love silver coins 🪙👍
@@newbietones I'm from Europe. As a child, I played in the ground in the garden and found a silver Roman coin of Marcus Aurelius) There are many artifacts in Europe. But I am interested in looking at the search in other parts of the world)
Yeah you guys in Europe have it sooooo good. The finds are endless. So jealous! A Roman coin would be amazing to find, basically anything pre-1600’s would be amazing actually lol.
Great Hunt there. As much as we hate them dig your shotgun shell targets. I hate them to. I've been detecting for 16 years. Last December my Equinox 700 VDI 50 51 shotgun shell range. I finally found an 1882 5 Dollar Gold Coin. I dug 2 more targets really close to the Gold Coin similar VDI numbers. One a Bullet Caseing the other Shotgun Shell. Congrats on your 3rd Barber Coin and 1929 Mercury Dime. Love the Silver Ring Beautiful. Love the Buckles also. Take Care best of luck out there
Thank you and again, happy you enjoyed the video’s!🙏🏻 I know I shouldn’t ignore those 13-16’s because of the likelihood of them being a shotgun shell because sometimes there not. Same with the 12-13’s being pull tabs or nickels. I would love to find a gold coin. You must’ve been over the moon excited! 👍
December was an unbelievable month. I found 2 Morgan Dollars in one hole 1879 o and 1883 s. I figured that I wouldn't ever top that find. 5 days later 5 Dollar Gold Coin popped out. Was in disbelief for awhile. Even thought at first it was a Shotgun Shell till I wiped a little dirt away. I dropped it back in the hole now thinking it was a crushed bottle capor Gold tinfoil. 😅. I'm still in awe over it. Take Care
I'm not sure what detector your using. Mine my VDIs the numbers are high. Silver Dollars 94 to 95 VDI. The only reasons I've found that many is by digging cans, can slaw, lots of trash. But I've found some really cool Relics with these VDI numbers also. Best of luck out there. You'll find that Silver Dollar and Hopefully the Gold Coin. Take Care
Two Morgan Dollars in the same hole!😮 Thats amazing! Definitely on the bucket list for sure. Gotta ask where you found them.. park, field, house permission ect.?
I live in a small mining town in Nevada. There's alot of old mines here. They woul camp out for a week get paid go back to town for supplies party etc. Then go back to camp. The two Morgan Dollars in one hole was definitely awesome. Those 2 Silver Dollars were my 11th and 12th Silver Dollars that I've found here. I've been very fortunate with metal detecting. It's been awesome. I have found 9 Morgan's and 3 Peace Dollars in the 16 years detecting. The 5 Dollar Gold Coin was extra special. Where I live this town was a Stage Stop late 1870s. It was established in 1906. It's been a fun ride. Hopefully getting out this Monday to find some more of the good stuff. Take Care
Congratulations on finding silver! I love finding rings. I have a collection of rings from the 5th to the 20th centuries.

That’s amazing you’ve found that many Morgan dollars. I’d be happy with just one. Good luck on the hunt. 👍
