Nice
While as a falcons fan I wish the super bowl could have went different, I feel that as talented as that Denver team was they deserved that win.

Awesome name bra!
Atlanta lost to New England after having a 28-3 lead
I miss how they did the superbowl logos the good ole days

Yup
Broncos were unstoppable back then with Elway

I’m 29 now
I remember watching this on my grandmas bed
Wow
Tim Dwight was a gamebreaker and my favorite player on the Falcons that year. I will never understand why the Falcons traded him to San Diego.
He's a celebrity in Iowa city he has a restaurant there
@@chrisitalia8868 Whats the name of it?, and I bet he is.He was a great football player for the Hawkeyes.
@@4uFriday I don't know if it's still a thing but like 15 years ago I visited a freind in Iowa city and they pointed to a restaurant/bar and said that's Iowa Hawkeye receiver tim Dwight's place, he could probably run for mayor because he was so good at football, I don't remember the name so much time has gone by
I was 10 years old. I went to 5 Vikings games that year. Should have been the Vikings. Minnesota knows heartbreak better than any other city in the world.
Steve Atwater #27 of the Denver Broncos
Career Accomplishments
Denver Broncos (1989-1998)
New York Jets (1999)
8x Pro Bowl selection
4x All-Pro selection
3 Super Bowl appearances
2x Super Bowl champion
1989 All-Rookie Team
1990's All-Decade Team
Pro Football Hall of Fame selection
He was instrumental in getting the Broncos their first Super Bowl victory. In fact, some would argue he could have been the Most Valuable Player in Super Bowl XXXII. His play was nothing short of stellar. He was credited with six solo tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and two passes defensed. Furthermore, his big plays came at the times when the Broncos needed them most. He sacked Brett Favre and forced a fumble when Terrell Davis was sitting out the second quarter due to a migraine. He batted down a pass at the line while blitzing that was intended for a wide open Green Bay receiver. Finally, during the Packers frantic charge in the final minutes, Atwater broke up a pass with a collision so fierce two players where knocked out. Had those plays not been made it is possible the Packers could have won the game.
Thumbs up 1000 times for your comment. Atwater, my favorite Bronco definitely. I remember the duo Atwater/ Dennis Smith. It was unbelievable how they just terrorized and punished their opponents..
@@jamblman They were one of the all time best duos. Last week I received some signed football cards from Dennis Smith. He is good about signing autograph requests. It will be nice to watch him speak at Steve Atwater's HOF induction ceremony.
He also hit someone so hard it knocked out 2 people and himself.
i loved this falcons team as a kid, ima tell you though morten anderson missing that kick, then rod smith going the distance sealed this game even at that point a team like atlanta based on the run game was screwed at that point going forward.
I was so pissed that Atlanta made it to SB knowing how it should have been Vikings vs Broncos. But that's the NFL for you, there's always a fluke team every 10 years or so.
I can imagine all the old TVs playing this game. Quality borderline unreadable
Elway's throwing motion was so nice
Wish this would've been the vikings vs broncos.
Both sad Super Bowl franchisees 80s Broncos couldn’t win neither could the 70s Vikings
@@mrbage5307 Broncos weren't gonna win in the 80s bc of the 49ers and the Vikings weren't gonna win in the 70s bc of the Cowboys, Steelers, and Raiders.
I love watching both of my 2 favorite teams go against each. So either way my team wins lol
More violent in this era.
😎🏈💯👍
Welcome to life as an Atlanta Falcons fan where you lose to John Elway and Tom Brady in each of the team's SuperBowl appearances... FML
Where’s the money rain that Peter griffin was throwing out of a blimp

Denver Broncos First Super Bowl Win Over Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta Falcons finds all kinds of way to shit up Super Bowls
Wow the play by play commentator was absolutely brain numbingly boring. I know it was like that back then but wow, a truer td like that ran back from the 8 yard line and he sounds like he’s ready to go home.
John Elway Terrell Davis Ed Mccaffrey Shannon Sharpe Denver Broncos
Can we ever win
This is missing the Vikings.
Only 6 ?
f vs b
This announcer is so un hipe
What is wrong with the commentators? Are they dead?
I think pat summerall was drunk or had a hangover from the night before if he was still drinking at the time.
Madden and Summerall were legends back in the day.
Patt Summerall had a drinking problem
