My favorite part of the entire episode is when Estarossa thinks he has the upper hand encasing Escanor's sun in the black magic and countering his physical attacks and Escanor is just like:
"Who decided that? I decide such things." and just undoes all of that and just... decides to end the battle....

Well actually that somewhat depends. Given the particular source and nature of LAHD ESCAHNAWS power, in that it's a specific thing that someone else specifically had, kind of like how the Commandments work, actually, in that it's a "thing" that (at least for them) can be taken away and given to someone else like an item or piece of equipment... (Or, in his case, somehow acquired after the loss of the original user).
Well either the child is absolutely, utterly, universe wreckingly gamebreaking at the cost of Tall Bright's existence, as he hands down his gift to the child and therefore no longer has it himself, or... Well honestly probably just pretty powerful. Especially because I can't imagine a world where Merlin leaves her child without extra gifts given the extent of her hobbies, knowledge, and resources.

One great detail about Escanor is when we first meet him after he is sun jacked up. He is ordering Ban around, next time he talks to ban during the night he addresses him as Mr.Ban. great detail about him that gets overlooked

Drekex same. It lacked music. The colors were too bright. They didn't get Estarossa's eyes correctly. The animation isn't that good. They cut scenes from the manga. They removed the "That is my Sin" dialogue. They didn't show the smile of Estarossa that's the same as meliodas. Lacked suspense
Aren-kun, my personal gripes were how there was no tension with the final cruel sun, should have had a bit more DBS style spirit bomb pushing going on with Estarossa having his hands on it trying to resist or something, then Zeldris joining in to try and help him, then them both getting fucked up. Zedris just putting the shoulder in was lame.
Also, the lake turning to steam was super mishandled. It should have had some exposition and then the onlookers realising that holy shit, that's not smoke, that's the lake.
I think I took issue with one more thing, but I can't remember right now. I think in general, Estarossa was too unresponsive. Emotions sell things, and the two most proud guys in the series deadpanning everything doesn't make for a good fight.

That shot in the manga when Escanor is towering over Estarossa saying "...THAT is my SIN!" put me on the Escanor hype train forever after. Estarossa is also an interesting character, shrouded in mystery (unless you're reading the manga too, then you know his shits about to go sideways)

Now the trap card a better way of saying it would have been, "My continuous trap card Full Counter, negates any battle damage I take and reflects it back at my opponent, and my continuous Spell card black out stops any and all Spell, trap or monster effect my opponent controls that would deal direct damage to me"
So now the opponent cannot attack monsters and deal damage, they can't deal burn damage, and they can't attack in the first place if they hate you, thanks to that Escanors only options is to just not hate and destroy the two continuous trap and spell cards just like he did in the show

Yeah honestly, I watched so manyyyy animes...so many of them and Seven deadly sins has such a amazing theme, topics and atmosphere I can call it my best anime ever, The author really created something really really interesting with a incredibly serious topic or theme, The conversations of the characters are really original and they don't make me feel sad for the anime like the other animes does, I give this anime a 10 out of 10, I've seen no minuses in this anime

The anime butchered the manga

The first season was good .
For the second season , idk, since i actually read the manga, so from my point of view, its worse than the manga, but then again ppl who read the manga said the first season was also bad, but it was super fine, the scenes cut from the manga were either irelevant or worse than what they did in the anime(the episodes where they find gowther).
What i can say for sure is that Escanor vs Esterosa is better in the manga.
First season animation was better even though the characters are at least a dozen times stronger and faster now...
They definitely butchered the hell out of it. There was no tension at all and the fight was way too short. They didn't add any type of filler in between to fill in some time. Plus when escanor used Pride Flare the anime made it seem like Estarossa just got up immediately. That attack is ridiculous and they made it look weak as fuck. Plus they censored the crap out of what Estarossa really looked like after that attack. You could see his actual muscles cause the skin was burned off. Course they've censored more than that unfortunately

I like that the fight was short it shows that Escanor can take out the strongest in no time at all.
