450 bushmaster would be good there,that type of Terrain,distance My grandfather hunted PA, Donora area somewhere for 50 yrs,,, Winchester mod 70 feather weight, .243 all he used Then a Weatherby ,made in Cali back then , 4 feet of snow here now in northeast Ohio, not much hunting going on, Best~Regards
You’re call of course but me personally I would never shoot a doe on the opening day of Pennsylvania buck season. I’m sure the cold weather played a part in your decision.

nice shot on that doe and i'm surprise you or your dad didn't take that buck that you saw the first morning of rifle season

@@dansmith8933 yeah it’s not the best set up but I got a safety strap around the tree that also connects with a strap around my waist!
What kind of climber were you using? Nice shot!
