A complete waste of money. I do not see the point of four front ends, it is just adding to drive space, especially if the graphics are duplicated. You are also giving credit to the people that you brought it from. However, it is the people of HS, CO, LB that done all of the hard work. @@HyperArcadeSystems Does the system have game config presets for a Switch Pro wireless setup? And do you guys have a recommended usb BT adapter (8bitdo maybe?) if the PC MB doesn't have native BT on board regardless of the wireless controller used?
@timg271 You mean connecting an actual switch controller for use with the switch emulator?
That's something you would have to setup in the switch menu itself. The setup is primarily only setup to be used with keyboard inputs or anything that uses xinput.
@@HyperArcadeSystems No, I meant universally across all the games as opposed to having to to buy additional wireless controllers I didn't already have - I have 2 SP's but no XB wireless controller. In Googling it does look like you can get Switch Pro to use Xinput with some 'wrapper' applications out there but would have to test. I also have a wired Logitech PS style controller which would work.
I want to get the 8TB drive setup but it'll probably be next year after tax refund before I do it.
Can you mod these in the settings or do you have to download mods
Certainly looks much tighter than the 12TB Kinhank drive. However, I just received mine and will take some time of trials and errors b4 justifying another $200+ of duckies tbh.
Hey Chase can you recommend an affordable mini pc that would work well with this?
Everybody wants mini PCs.... the integrated graphics cards will run 2D pretty well. However... for the more demanding 3D stuff... It would probably chug quite a bit.
You can get mini pcs with a 1050 or slightly better... but theyre kind of expensive. Better to get a compact atx form factor and get a dedicated video card. 1050TI or better.
Can you make it full screen or we have to play like that?

I've had the 16tb version for a long time in my cabinet. It is Constantly being updated and tweaked for a better experience. Money well spent. I've been very happy with it.
How is it with malware and virus? I had a bad experience with a Kinhank drive. Also does it read an xbox controller out of the box?
@@nightowl360 Its compatible with xbox, ipac and usb encoders (Which is really just like an xbox if you wire it correctly)
As for the malware. There are 3 sections of the drive that might give false positives. And they all really have to do with cracked titles. First the PC games.. Second is Taito Type X and the third is Nesicaxlive. All three do use cracks... and well, will get picked up by virus scans. This however doesnt mean it has malware on it. Ive been around for about 8 years and I would never put malware on the drive.
Also... for this reason... and the fact that PC games have thousands of files sometimes. I actually only put on PC games that people want to play. Fighters.. racing games etc... Killer instinct for the PC is on the 16tb drive for example which is an excellent game.
Also unlike others... I have a full blown update system. And I support 2300 people. Which you can verify for yourself in the Discord group.

@nightowl360 i use arcade controls mostly but yes I can and do use my Xbox controllers . I haven't had any issues with virus or malware. The pc I use for my arcade is a standalone unit that is only used for this purpose
@@kevinmccreight6797 I replied to this before and it wouldn't post..
There's 3 sections that would set off a scanner. Nesicaxlive, Taito type x and PC games. These use cracks and have some scripting in them that will get flagged. They are not malware though and I would never include anything like that on the drive.
Controls wide... you can actually use both keyboard and Xbox controllers at the same time. One is hardware.. one is software. So they lay over eachother without conflict.
@fordman9870 I can't reply to the OP for some reason. Very strange.
There's 3 sections on the drive that might get flagged by a scanner. Nesicaxlive, pc games and Taito type x.. These systems have certain files as well as cracks etc.But they're not malware. I would never include anything like that on the setup.
As for the controls.. The base controls are keyboard but work fine with an Xbox controller so really you can have both hooked and use both at the same time since one is software and the other is hardware. They lay over eachother with zero conflict so long as the controls align.

A complete waste of money. I do not see the point of four front ends, it is just adding to drive space, especially if the graphics are duplicated. You are also giving credit to the people that you brought it from. However, it is the people of HS, CO, LB that done all of the hard work. Any fool can build this if they know how to get the ROMs, you are paying around $415 just for the software alone. I am using a price of $350 for each drive if 16tb, even though I have 18tb for the same price where you ended up with 16TB useable space. These drives are possibly just over 14 TB, so more of a con going on there. I might end up doing multiple set ups in the future, simply because I enjoy setting things up more than I do playing the games. People could save a lot of money by learning how to do things themselves.
$240??!??……..hahahaha bro review some cheap $60 ones
