Thanks for not misleading the audience by displaying the base variant's price in the thumbnail. This car is for the slightly upper middle class who need the skoda driving experience. Obviously it is not for budget minded people because it will have high maintanence costs and higher fuel cost per month (XP95 petrol for the turbo). The turbo engine also wont last as long as an NA engine. Its not a fuel efficient car as you can see @7:04 that the mileage is 8.2 Kmpl (probably a city drive). So XP95 petrol cost and this mileage combined is going to add up to the monthly fuel costs. For budget people the options are still maruti, toyota and honda.
I'm the owner of a VW Taigun 1.0L, I get mileage in Pune City 14 KM/PL and on highway 18/20 KM/PL for the manual gearbox. Don't confuse people about maintenance most of the part is made in India and a service pack is available on parts so maintenance costs is not higher. every oil change and service is after the 15k Km or every year which is completed early.

That gap between the clutch and center console is a CRIME. why give a dead pedal when you cannot use it. Ease of driving should be #1 PRIORITY but instead these cars focus on things like big ass sunroof,a big iPad on the dashboard among other things.
