Kylaq is like iPhone and brezza is like one plus… One you use iPhone it’s tough to switch to android similarly one you drive a German DNA then you would prefer a German
1L TSI has good mileage provided if you are driving it properly and being gentle on accelerator paddle. I have driven 1L TSI TAIGUN got easily 18-19 on highways. For Service cost I think they will provide the service package and also I think they wont make it high service cost vehicle because its locally produced and will try to keep it within the limits if they want to remain in the competition.

Now taste of Indians changing towards safer and having peppy engine cars. Skoda has to reduce wheelbase from Kushaq to accommodate in sub 4 meter segment. It changed the game in the favour of kaylaq. Reduced wheelbase increased stiffness of body, so stiff body of kaylaq can go with softer suspension in city and without body rolling on highways due stiffness of its body. Now riding index is best and steering feedback, driving dynamics were already best moreover 55kg reduced weight increased torque/ kerb weight ratio. Same 1.0 TSI engine seems more peppy in kaylaq then its siblings. I booked kaylaq at dealership end.

Give your audience the knowledge about the cost of replacing same parts. Its is also known that frequent servicing or changing of parts are also not required in VAW cars. I am driving VW Ameo 1.5 TDI for past 5 years. The Service Cost is only ₹14k and that too once a year. And let me tell you that the built quality is such that you will seldom require to replace any parts.
VW is good car, service cost is also not too high. But parts availability and service centre locations both are pathetic. Even in India there are 5 states where service center not available for VW. Just think there is some trouble hs arrived during your family trip and no service center available nearby location. How do you manage.

Your view on Service cost in not true. I own a VW Vento 1.5 TDI, you know the problem is with the Service Centre and their labour charges. They charge labour on each part replaced, i got my front suspension replaced which includes mounting bushes, bearings etc. They charged 5000 approx for labour and 9K for parts, Same job can be done by other Service centres like Bosch for just 1500 Labour charges. Just get the basic car service like Engine Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter, Cabin Filter, Diesel Filter changed in Service till your car is under warranty. For rest of the things you can get other parts replaced from outside, buy genuine parts and get it fitted outside. That will be much cheaper, i did my VW Vento 1.5 TDI Servicing for just Rs. 6-7K that too for a diesel car, i sourced original parts and got them replaced by a mechanic for which he will charge max 500. Parts for VW doesn't cost much, it's comparable to other brand cars, only problem is with their service centres who try to charge as much as possible.

Confusion dur nahi hui abhi, between 3x0 and Kylaq, 3xO ki bas avg ka doubt hai aur sab badhiya hai and about "diggi" i feel ke its better ke jisme (3X0) chota hai matlab leg-room jyada milega, total length to almost same hai sabki, toh baithne me dikkat ho aur khali badi diggi lekar ghoomo, makes no sense. baithna har roz hai and dikki kabhi kabhi use hogi, sawari ek bhi kam hai toh seat fold karke saman rakho.
I believe, the point is this will be an expensive car on the long run. So its not for the lower middle class. If you can bear the petrol cost for millage of 11-12 kmpl and ok with bit higher maintenance and are not worried about resale value then you should definitely buy this car. Else, go for maruti Brezza. Skoda cant touch maruti customers with this product. My only concern is, will they be able to do customer-supporting service due to increase in customers ?? Hope it wont turn i to a case of Tata & Mahindra's.
Brezza has good resale value.. parts are cheap but now people opt for looks, features, safety & style.. Local cars always give cheap service cost but regularly.. while European cars give you expensive service cost but rarely..
Gold is gold. Kylaq is more than that. Adas and sunroof are waste of money. You have a strong engine, strong body, and high standard built quality. These guys are used to toys, jugad vehicles. Grow man. Someone's money speaks.

Sorry to contradict you, but even first time buyer should think of Skoda... They should also get a test of quality. If this is available below 10lac, why not to enjoy it. I had bought Polo as my first car and I got to know what luxary is. Even maintenance cost is not an issue. I am using VW- Skoda cars for a decade now and at no point the maintenance was more than 10-12K for a full year. I strongly recommend even first time buyers to take test drive and positively look at skoda as an option.

The first car is being considered, with confusion between 3XO and Kylaq. Safety is the first priority. A no-nonsense car is preferred. Medium maintenance is the second priority. Mileage is not a concern, as the car will not be used for daily driving.
In all aspects skoda kylaq is far better than suzuki tata mahindra hyundai. Though 3xo and nexon provide good engine specs but service from them is very poor. Go for skoda service package which cost 25k for 4 years. What i had observed in this video is that You guys dont know anything about car industry.

My best advice to car buyers who are concerned with milage and service cost is buy lower variant and save 2-3 lakhs for petrol and service cost.

VW is good car, service cost is also not too high. But parts availability and service centre locations both are pathetic. Even in India there are 5 states where service center not available for VW. Just think there is some trouble hs arrived during your family trip and no service center available nearby location. How do you manage.

Your view on Service cost in not true. I own a VW Vento 1.5 TDI, you know the problem is with the Service Centre and their labour charges. They charge labour on each part replaced, i got my front suspension replaced which includes mounting bushes, bearings etc. They charged 5000 approx for labour and 9K for parts, Same job can be done by other Service centres like Bosch for just 1500 Labour charges. Just get the basic car service like Engine Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter, Cabin Filter, Diesel Filter changed in Service till your car is under warranty. For rest of the things you can get other parts replaced from outside, buy genuine parts and get it fitted outside. That will be much cheaper, i did my VW Vento 1.5 TDI Servicing for just Rs. 6-7K that too for a diesel car, i sourced original parts and got them replaced by a mechanic for which he will charge max 500. Parts for VW doesn't cost much, it's comparable to other brand cars, only problem is with their service centres who try to charge as much as possible.

and about "diggi" i feel ke its better ke jisme (3X0) chota hai matlab leg-room jyada milega, total length to almost same hai sabki, toh baithne me dikkat ho aur khali badi diggi lekar ghoomo, makes no sense.
baithna har roz hai and dikki kabhi kabhi use hogi, sawari ek bhi kam hai toh seat fold karke saman rakho.
Mahindra is excellent breand, no service issues, I have drives XUV 300 for 1.5 lac km, excellent vehicle, excellent service support.......
I believe, the point is this will be an expensive car on the long run. So its not for the lower middle class. If you can bear the petrol cost for millage of 11-12 kmpl and ok with bit higher maintenance and are not worried about resale value then you should definitely buy this car. Else, go for maruti Brezza. Skoda cant touch maruti customers with this product.
My only concern is, will they be able to do customer-supporting service due to increase in customers ?? Hope it wont turn i to a case of Tata & Mahindra's.
Brezza has good resale value.. parts are cheap but now people opt for looks, features, safety & style.. Local cars always give cheap service cost but regularly.. while European cars give you expensive service cost but rarely..

Sorry to contradict you, but even first time buyer should think of Skoda... They should also get a test of quality. If this is available below 10lac, why not to enjoy it. I had bought Polo as my first car and I got to know what luxary is. Even maintenance cost is not an issue. I am using VW- Skoda cars for a decade now and at no point the maintenance was more than 10-12K for a full year. I strongly recommend even first time buyers to take test drive and positively look at skoda as an option.

3xo fits more luggage in boot as it doesn't have a parcel tray as compared to Nexon.
The first car is being considered, with confusion between 3XO and Kylaq.
Safety is the first priority.
A no-nonsense car is preferred.
Medium maintenance is the second priority.
Mileage is not a concern, as the car will not be used for daily driving.
In this case Kylaq takes the easy win

In all aspects skoda kylaq is far better than suzuki tata mahindra hyundai. Though 3xo and nexon provide good engine specs but service from them is very poor. Go for skoda service package which cost 25k for 4 years. What i had observed in this video is that You guys dont know anything about car industry.

Kylaq does not provide 360 camera etc., but 3X0-AX5L has them. My question is I heard waiting period is very long and Mahindra quality and service has problems What is your advice?
