4:59 The 2018 iPad Pro actually has the Apple A12X Bionic chip. This was the first iPad that I bought for myself, back in August of 2019. I came from an iPad mini 2, and what a night and day difference it was. I got my iPad Pro just a month before the OS was rebranded from iOS to iPadOS. And I agree, the design of this iPad has indeed held up extremely well.
4:43 about the stutters, the same thing sadly can't be said on iPadOS 18... I mean it's still fast and it's obviously not like a 4S on iOS 9 or whatever but for instances Safari sometimes takes ages to load, definitely not as responsive as before.
A legacy iOS version is one you can't target with the latest version of Xcode. iOS 12 support was recently removed from Xcode, which is why iOS 12 is now legacy.
Still using my 12.9 inch I got used last year on 16.4.1, still feels modern, but the M4 iPad Pro with the OLED display is tempting since my battery is going bad.
Actually it is as cool as that iPad. The iPad mini 5 came out in early 2019 so by then iOS 12.2 was originally shipped with it. So you’re on a early version of iOS for that iPad.
I’m watching this on the 12.9 inch model, it feels so weird to see it being described as a legacy device, mine still works great on iPadOS 18, I might upgrade just for future proofing sake.
no, i am watching on an iPhone SE nearly 16 years apart from that. i feel like this runs only 5G because in my place it is 2160 and the latest iPhone has 34G

9:23 footage is missing?
yeah??
11:07 it was the iOS 11 default wallpaper, not iOS 10
1:33 The 2018 iPad Pro has a Liquid Retina display.
The reason it’s on a old iOS is cause that was a demo iPad you can tell by looking at the model number it starts with a number
Please show more user experience cases, but all your videos are cool
You catch me off guard every time! Great collection man 🤝

iOS 12 was a mainly refinement update for older A7 AND A8 devices speed bump from ios 11

9:23 editing mistake?
Wow! Great find. I do have a mini 5 on iOS 12.3.1 which isn’t as cool as this one
