The game time we play in game isn’t representative of the narratives duration whatsoever, think of it like after each patch they put the timeline on pause until we get the next patch. Irl duration has nothing to do with how long something in game might take.
Roleplay as hard as you want but you’re filled with nitpicking and not bringing up any good lore points. You bringing up dragonflight in general shows that you aren’t aware they didn’t have their writers for the last expansion which is why the story doesn’t make sense. Now they have an OG story writer and they have to ignore everything from the last expansion since they had no direction for where they wanted things to go back then. Take a look at who the writers were for dragonflight, then see that this expansion we have someone who helped write the original Warcraft 3 lore.
It could have been a while before he heard that Dalaran fell. First reports made it back by way of the Horde and Alliance, and then the word would have spread from there. The Dragon Isles probably wasn't first priority, despite Kalecgos being part of the Kirin Tor.
@@ozmcsween Did we read the same comment? He made several points pertaining to the lore, while you're just talking about real-world things like writing and patch releases. He also invited discussion, while you're being somewhat hostile.
@@mokarokas-1727 the real world events impact the lore my friend. losing the core lore writer, and their vision means that the lore in between doesn't match their vision, hence the complete revisions for this expansion and incoherent timeline of events. this is exactly like people trying to write new lord of the rings stories when they don't have the original writers vision, so it comes out quite poorly.
Kel'thuzad.... i was wondering when he will show up but it was just a mirror image :( I hoped his soul was split and he got a part hidden somewhere. He is a fun villian to fight against
Not after the shadowlands, where we killed him for Good. I liked Kel'thuzad but after his more or less redcon in Shadowlands which destroyed his character he had in Warcraft 3 and TFT.i didn't like it

I was wondering if you recall which of the delves you got that mog at? Was it for sure a fungal themed delve?
@@Nobbel87 Thanks for the quick reply, I did get that red candle helm before I got the campaign quests done at the start of the xpac so it was at least not bountiful for sure, will help in farming for it ^^
As an original Forsaken Mage from before Arthas's Treachery, the Kirin Tor abandoned Lorderon as Gilneas did. And that's 'at best'. At worst they facilitated the whole affair with Kelthuzad's aid of Arthas. They get what they deserve. That's my in character response of my oldest main. ABSOLUTELY the Kirin Tor will return next expansion, settling the Dalaran Crater area as a new quest hub/potential neutral city player housing option.
They can finally rebuild the city instead of being a floating one.

I just realised Aethas Sunreaver and Nathanos Blightcaller have the same voice actor.
And let's not forget about Dark Master Gandling from Scholomance.
When I run that dungeon all I hear is Nathanos voice actor.
It’s sounds like that dude also is Anduin tbh
Good to see Mr. Bigglesworth again
Was he targetable?

I noticed there was some HD Kirin Tor Props. Be kind of neat to see the Kirin Tor build a city of their own again with all of the HD Buildings.
The little bubble reminds me a lot of Coldarra back in WotLK. Dragons love bubbles apparently.
There are several of those bubbles around Kirin Tor quest hubs, from WotLK to Dragonflight.
Did you get a Dalaran Heritage Armor? Kinda what this questline feels like
Damn it! Couldn't beat the bots.
I liked how Nobbel went like "oh no" when Kalecgos brought out his mirror images.

Now that a pocket dimension was introduced we should all ask for housing using that
god this questline is so sad. i just finished playing through it. brought a few tears to me, bc it truly is gone. Farewell, City of Magic
Honestly I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. Dalaran has always been a middle finger to the enemy in whatever expansion it appears in.
My arcane mage was born and grew up in Dalaran. She can totally relate to Aethas' plight.
I agree with Kel'thuzad, also you think this could lead to him returning in some form?
0:24 oh boy can I sympathise with him but sadly I don’t have the cool gray hair and near god level super powers of an archmage 😂
Mr Bigglesworth must be over 30 years old. That cat is a legend.
His pet version is undead, so age is irrelevant

So what happened to the Pillars of Creation lorewise? Are they still in the Tomb of Sargeras? I can see them in Dalaran though. It's a bit confusing?
yea we used them in the tomb of sarg

Azshara stole the Tidestone of Golganneth, which she used to hold the ocean at bay so that we had the Nazjatar zone in 8.2.
So what was your favorite and least favorite class/spec to level up, Nobbel?
This version of kelthuzad is so based.
Wait when did Aethas help to get the divine Bell ? It was a rouge Sun reaver who helped the Warchief
"Oh God, put it in your pants"
Heads up: "emaciated" is pronounced "eh-MAY-see-ay-ted", (that emphasis in general American English at least).
