I've been going over your videos and it's crazy and inspiring to see how fast you went from being sketched on Big Bad Wolf to climbing Ancient Art. You're killing it, keep being awesome.
@@codyandvictoria ahhhhhh!! well least you can experience it properly now. You ever done the Mary Jane Falls one? Its short but beautiful, waterfall at the end!
I’ve done this exact same adventure several times. Stopping by Vegas, staying at Lovell, climbing at Red Rock… seriously some of my favorite memories. Love that area!!!
The way you guys shoot makes it seem so effortless to make such an incredible video every week. seriously. i know how much work goes into it but these are so relaxed and chill you guys make it look easy. always blown away with how your gopro footage looks so great matched with your sony!
@@codyandvictoria it is worth it! Picked up a couple of LUT packs this morning and playing around with them. I got Tahoe and Pack 4 both for use with CINE4. Any suggestions for which one might be good for a wedding film?
Dan! I'm pretty sure we met you while you were guiding on the first day. You may even appear in this video for a split second??? So glad you stopped by the channel 🤙🏼 Maybe we'll catch you at a crag again some day. If you ever make it out to Tahoe definitely get in touch
Love the fact you two watch your $$!! Frugal, cheapskate, cheap bastard, skinflint, are some of my favorite words I live by. America was built on principles like this, no car payments and a 15 yr mortgage. Keep enjoying life you two! Timmy C Arizona
Fun video! Red Rock is one of my favorite places to climb...anywhere! Hey, it sounds like you're fairly new to the climbing scene, which is awesome. I've been climbing my whole life, and if I could make just a quick safety suggestion, it'd be to go to the 13.06 mark and notice where the rope is. When you're leading (even on easy terrain like the end of this last pitch) and you are angling in either direction, make sure the rope is lying across the outside of the leg on the opposite side of the direction you're heading. So in the video, since you are angling to the right, it's safest to have the trailing rope on the outside of your left leg. Otherwise, it's a setup for an upside down flip and head-smack against the wall in the case of a leader fall because the force will invert you by catching the underside of your left leg. Just shared with the hope that you two have many, many days of happy climbing ahead! Congrats on doing your hardest multi-pitch today! Really enjoying your videos!!
In this January we were in Las Vegas.. was planned for red canyon drive, but missed it due to shortage of tym. Glad that u share this video. So we get some wonderful views.. Will plan sometimes later for it. Happy Travelling. Stay healthy, stay safe
Red Rock Canyon is up the road from me. This is a great city as a hub for outdoor activity and exploration of the desert. Every weekend I just pick a direction and drive until I find something new, random dirt roads and such. Glad to see it featured here.
Thanks for sharing your desert adventure. Red Rocks is my favorite place in the world to climb, it’s a bit odd to think about when living in Copenhagen 😅 You guys should consider learning how to trad climb, and then go back to Red Rocks to climb classic multipitch routes in the 5.8 and 5.9 grades. Sooo many great routes and expiren es 💚
Again yall killed it again with the editing and shooting. What still amazes me is how perfect your audio is. If I could rate it out of 10 yall be on 100.

Las Vegas is underrated when it comes to the outdoors. My family lives there and I love Kraft boulders is less 20 minutes away. You have Mt Charleston, Lake Mead, Grand Canyon and Utah all within a couple of hours or less away.
Highly recommend it. Check out Freedom Of The Hills if you want to get a jump start on your climbing knowledge. Then find someone to teach you and get after it!
