My daughter turns 14 this month. She was recently diagnosed with a 37° curve. They also determined, at Nemours in Jacksonville, Florida that she has stopped growing. They opted not to provide any treatment, such as a back brace, at this time, but rather to see her again in a few months to see if there has been any progression. This concerns me because I don’t feel it’s a proactive approach and not sure what I should do. They are supposed to be the experts but I just want the best possible treatment for my daughter to prevent her from a lifetime of issues.

Are there methods to reduce scoliosis in an adult? I was told I need 3 level fusion. Have sciatica pain occurring from L4 and L5 but because of scoliosis they want to fuse more?

i have scoliosis 36° but i dont know what degree is it now because it's already been 7 months ,and now i kinda feel soreness in my back part and my shoulder is no longer equal, its idiopathic scoliosis and the doctor said it's unknown cause. But i remember when i ride a banana boat on beach there's bad happened because my body slaps on the water and my left side got hit by my aunt friend, after that my face is no longer symmetrical 😢
