If I could have one wish, it would be more Gene Clark. I never get enough of his music , or his perfect voice, but it breaks me down to know that there will not be more new stuff.
Another Great Gene Clark song from a Superbly produced album, his individual backing band members are also all legends in their own right . An Album So Perfect down to every last detail. Once I get this album out I just cannot put it away, and I could just listen to this track all night long.
I read rhat this could have been released as a single, if not for the use of the word "bitches". I think it should have been. Just Gene being Gene staying true to himself, writing what he felt, whether it was acceptable or not. This song is that good.
Thanks for clearing that up. Whoever is playing, this is one hell of a song, like allof his others. I recently got NoOther and Roadmaster as birthday gifts. I have a 4yr. Old grandaughter who has to hear "Silver Raven" every day. I am glad I can pass on my love of Gene's music to her.
Another example of the brilliance of Gene Clark. My absolute favourite singer song writer.
Gene Clark is one of those rarest artists who produced excellent music all throughout his life-in his case, the Sixties, Seventies, and Eighties
Love Gene Clark. His talent crosses generations. Was surprised that my son is as enamored of his singing/songwriting abilities as I am.
Aahhh man...another gem. Is there no end to his genius????
