Honestly, I'm glad that Teyon's done ANOTHER quality licensed game. Them going from Rambo to Terminator: Resistance was such a glow-up, and I'm so happy that they've maintained that momentum.
Now i'm wondering if we will finally get a Robocop vs Terminator game in 3D by this studio, as the Master System game was criminally underrated, and hasn't had an official port since.
One that I tried and instantly fell inlove with was The Last Exterminator. FPS heavily inspired by Duke Nukem, Quake, Doom and other retro FPS classics. Its demo is only one level, took me about 30-40 minutes total to play through it on normal, then hard finding all the secrets and easter eggs. Its not going to revolutionize anything but the devs really just GET what people love about those classic fps titles.
man, you went in hard with those release date puns. phenomenal as always, i adore these demofest vids. always at least one game i look forward to playing myself.
The robot from the VR title Lone Echo is called Jack too, no? Now I wonder if that's coincidence or if somebody gave a cheeky nod to another great studio, regardless of whose came first.
AA games are coming back with way more quality thanks to how much more accessible the creative tools for making games have become. I can't wait to see what kind of games will come in the next 5-6 years. especially after how hard gaming has fallen off.
I have heard plenty of people gush for the combat in Robocop but nobody mentioned the hub city and solving crimes. Wow, this game has quickly risen up on my radar. Tayon gets plenty of shit for that Rambo game (which there was a lot of stuff happening behind the scenes with rights holders and budget) but Tayon has proven with Terminator and now with Robocop that they have a lot of love for the series. I really wish them the best with Robocop and their future endeavors. It's also cool to see how they are still supporting their Terminator game.
Best sci-fi action movie of all-time imo (yes that incudes T2)... I'm in high hopes for this game. Not that I expect a groundbreaking game.. I just want a decent Robogame that's all. This might be it?
Just finished the Robocop demo, It maybe on the budget but the guys knows exactly where they are putting their money and knows what they doing with what's given, just like Terminator game this one really respect the source material. Plus i appreciate the guys taking the Deus EX style of exploration and social interaction rather than a typical open world RPG approach. I'll take faithful works over mediocrity any day and i have faith on teyon to pull this off.
Noooooooo ya missed Go Mecha Ball!!!! Can't recommend it enough, it's a top down shooter roguelite with a heavy emphasis on speed and momentum, and I can't wait for the full release
I hated the RoboCop game. Yes, the actual gunplay feels great. But the writing is somehow worse than parodies of the original movie, the enemies are just copy pasted targets with AI worse than your average PS2 game... The "breaching" and "crime scene analysis" mechanics are considerably worse than past gen examples (R6 Vegas, Arkham). The game is so focused on achieving a perfect mechanical experience - which it does - that it doesn't bother caring about anything else past replication. Everything that is not "making you feel like RoboCop" or nostalgia baiting around the movie is either barebones or just flat out bad. Worst of all tho, you're not allowed to turn off upscaling, no matter how good your setup is. And the universal setting for the upscaling? TAA.
I thought Ghostrunner was super fun, but I never finished it cause it got WAY too hard toward the end. I messaged the developers asking if it was possible that the sequel would have more accessibility options and maybe even easier difficulty settings and they messaged back basically saying "No, sorry, but the sequel is gonna be like 10x harder", so yeah, not interested. I'll stick to RoboCop
The last upload contained an editing error that I didn't catch. Apologies.
Please enjoy!
Hi person, I don't watch lots of your videos, but I wish you a good day!
Thank you, I did quite enjoy!
Robocop was the biggest surprise out of every demo, I cannot believe it was that good

The pogo game looks very reminiscent of TF2 rocket jumping maps, and I'm absolutely here for it.
that's partly what it's based on :) there's even a rats map in the demo

Pogo 3D sounds like something created by Volv-E.
Power Pak is still haunted by the Garten, just like Mandy...
man, you went in hard with those release date puns. phenomenal

That bunny looks like it has had enough of life
I'd like to shout out Laika: Aged Through Blood, which is a gorgeous metroidvania fusion with Trials motorbike physics, and a decently meaty demo.
The robot from the VR title Lone Echo is called Jack too, no? Now I wonder if that's coincidence or if somebody gave a cheeky nod to another great studio, regardless of whose came first.
as a speedrunner for Pogo3D, happy more people are finding it
i've seen your vids! hopefully the steam release will boost interest in the game

Great video! Also love a well placed Yakuza 0 reference.
Very cool concept! I absolutely LOVE discovering new games and this is a perfect format for that.

this is a wonderful games roundup! Thank you for this!
It's like the bunny hopping in Quake obstacle courses. Maybe that's why you play as a bunny.
asked the dev ages ago, I think it's so the ears help you orient better?
Oh god, it's been at least 25 years since I haven't heard that Robocop Game Boy music ! 😵💫
Pogo 3D speedruns must be crazy
Please never stop doing these 🙏
That pogo game reminds me of tf2 rocket jumping. Painful to master, incredibly satisfying to watch someone else be good at it
Nice collection to look at. My favorites so far are Peripeteia and The Thaumaturge.
Rubber boingy thingy is my new favorite thing ive heard

I love how the pogo 3d rabbit looks so done with your shit
I have to say, judging from the trailer, that Robocop game looks like it's going to be awesome.
That new robo cop game looks sick

Tried some of those, always fun to see new type of control like a mf poggo

Awesome, can't wait to get my hands on Robocop! Love the movies. Thanks for the review.
The whole time watching first part of the video, my brain was like:
JUMP! Pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo!
BOUNCE Pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo!
DOWN! Pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo!
UP! Pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo!
glad someone else thought of this too!!!
Mosa Lina looks so fun.
What do you think of Slay the Princess and En Garde now that StP is coming out in 5 days and En Garde being released? Do you plan on playing them?
2:30 I like 3D platformers
But even watching this is rage inducing
From what I’m seeing, the Robocop game just needs a gibs system like Fallout 3/New Vegas and it would be perfect
0:09 why did they give the main character a BBL?
Robocop rouge city really surprised me
Damn I thought you were gona review COCOON. I love that game
"I'd buy that for a dollar!"
omg new powerpak upload :P
R U B B E R B O I N G Y T H I N G Y
We eating good today bois
I was a little worried about the Robocop game, but the devs making an update for the demo is a good sign
Pogo 3d is just a remake of pogo pretty much, the og pogo was a great yet silly game
cool video, however, lethal company.
Love your videos. Truely. BUT you should name those type of videos different. Like: "I played 7 Steam Demos" should bring more views. Just saying ^^
Non action parts of robocop were a slog. It takes ages to get to places, and you need to look at every corner to get more exp.

Robocop demo was such utter trash I can't take anyone who lauds it seriously lmao.
