Oh dang, your first Nendoroid unboxings haha! I actually have close to 200 of them now 😅 but I love them so much, they dont take up much space and they're so cute! I also love displaying them in front of their manga volumes on my bookshelf (usually with easel stands unless they come with a unique base). I have those Miyo and Kiyoka nendoroids too and I think you might be able to get away with not using the stands as long as they feel sturdy when you set them on a flat surface. For standing poses you do have to kind of mess around with the arm stand and their feet until they stand flat. Sometimes it definitely is frustrating trying to assemble them and some of the sculptors they choose are better than others. Their back pegs or joints in particular can be too loose or too tight and that is normal unfortunately. It's even more disappointing when they come like that now that the prices are higher and they come with so much less accessories than they used to 😮💨. Some tips I've learned over the years are to have a soft cloth and microfiber cloth ready, and make sure to have a clean space in case any accessories go flying (lol!). I will also typically pop off the head and set it aside before pushing in the back peg or swapping body parts (less flying heads lmao, it's because they're so top heavy) and I attach the stand arm to the base and then kind of plug the arm onto the back peg I've already pushed in the nendoroids back. The back peg comes off the stand arm which comes in clutch when the peg hole is too tight. Having the microfiber/glasses cloth handy is helpful to push in the back peg without hurting your thumb/apply more force. I also use it to cover their face and hair so so I can pull the head apart to change the face if the parts are too tight, and wont come apart easily. That way I can avoid accidentally scratching the hair. Lastly, I use sticky tack/museum putty to secure loose accessories (like Kuroo's cat) and it works really well without leaving any residue. Also side note, I have the same Cloud box cutter 😂 I keep the blue one on my dining table with my other unboxing supplies haha.
Omygosh 200!! That’s amazing your collection must be insane 😱 thank you for all your tips I have a growing pile of unboxed nendoroids in the corner of my room I need to get to haha
After the struggle i had with the first few I was really contemplating how much of a mistake this video idea was 😂😂 but it got easier as it went along so it worked out haha
Assembling these figures are always so fiddly for me as well lol I'm always dropping them or the pieces fall off as I'm in the middle of something. I've definitely resorted to super gluing a few pieces now and then because they wouldn't stay on 👀
I have Kuroo! I have his first uniform though lol Honestly, when I can't choose a pose from the box, I just go with whatever I feel like doing since they're really just for personal display, I don't feel a need to specifically pose them from certain scenes
Omg i’m soooo obsessed with nendoroids nowadays so this video is going to be super healing for me 🥰😍 (not me commenting before watching the video lol)
Ahhh i hope you enjoy the video when you watch it ❤️
