OMG, I _adore_ Cheeky Brat. 🩷 I bought the two final volumes (vol. 22 and 23) of the series just last week-end and can’t wait to see how it ends. 🤩 King’s Beast is another one of my newest favorites. I started collecting my local edition by chance, which has 7 volumes so far (I have vol. 7 and plan to read it soon)….and I absolutely love it. 💗

“Nina the Starry Bride” has been my to-get series list’s top spot for a while now. I read up to I believe volume 9 or 10 online - absolutely loved it 🩷 - and plan to get the ebook edition as soon as I can (read *as soon as I have the money). 🤩

I started reading Dorohedoro when it was first released in my country years ago, but I dropped before it reached 10 volumes because (for me) the more the story progressed the more outlandishly ridiculous it became….personally I wouldn’t recommend it, but that’s just my opinion. On the other side of spectrum, I’ve almost collected all available Kaiju no. 8 and Acid Town volumes (only one missing is Acid Town 3, which is coming tomorrow) - can’t wait to read them - and have been thinking about getting “Dangerous Convience-store” and “Deliquent Daddy and Tender Teacher”, but I’m not sure as there are other series that interest me a bit more (like “Chihiro-kun only has eyes for me” and especially “Matcha made in heaven”).

How do you all keep up with the consistiency of reading manga? I feel like I'm in and out with reading as a lot of the time I feel like I kind of burn out and I have periods where I'll read 20 volumes in 7 days and then nothing for the next 3 months because I'm not interested anymore and then I'll find and buy a new manga and the cycle begins. Do you have any tips? (20 volumes in 7 days is like 3 volumes for one day so not that much...)

I dropped Kamisama Kiss as well, it just wasn't for me ^^ Have you read Colette decides to die? The official release is in November and i can't wait to have a physical copy of it ♥It's my favorite Shoujo atm and definitely one of my all time favorite manga :))

I completely agree with kamisama kiss. I think alot of those who loves kamisama stems from nostalgia. Since im the type to only collect manga if i love the anime, i tried to give it a go and i didn’t love it. But i still finished it and gave it a chance. I couldn’t get into the characters, didnt care about the relationship much. So i was bumped about it since it’s widely loved by the shoujo community. But I respect those who do though, we all have an anime or series that we love that’s widely influenced by nostalgia. I have my own guilty pleasures(*cough vampire knight maid sama gundam seed) that I absolutely love but may not sit well to people who start reading it in these times. 😅

I will do this soon! I just read Days On Fes volume 1 this month and feel in love. I went and ordered the other volumes! I can’t wait for them to come in! Such a hidden gem 💎

Ah, I love unhaul videos :) It's really satisfying to watch between all the haul videos on youtube. I constantly have active listings of volumes I did not enjoy. It always feels good to send unwanted books away to people who might give them the love they deserve :) Or to someone who doesn't have the money to buy new manga. My best "sale" was to a highschooler who originally wanted to only pick up 1 of my mangas in person. She ended up with 20 volumes for 1€ each - will never forget her big smile. I rate my manga with 1-10 points, everything under 6 needs to leave the apartment. But recently, I've also been thinking to unhaul series that I like but will never re-read. For example A Silent Voice. It was a good read (7P), but it's a harsh topic and I don't think I want to go through that rollercoaster again ^^" Do you unhaul series like that as well?

I remember the huge Waterstone store in the city (near Manchester) where I lived while studying in England….and looking back I thank God I wasn’t into manga at the time, as if I had I would’ve spent half my budget on mangas and ended up starving. 😂 I started reading Kaiju no. 8 online, but for some now-forgotten reason I dropped it so I didn’t care when it got an official local release….but lately I’ve been thinking of picking it up again - as I remember loving the series.

I had no idea “The savior’s book café story in another world” had only 5 volumes! I thought it was still on-going and nowhere near conclusion even today, so I never got to pick it up (despite seeing lots of good reviews about it)….but now I very likely might. 🤩 I love Kyugo too. 💗 I first discovered Acid Town (and Kyugo’s other works) about 12-13 years ago through unofficial scanlati0ns online, and I’ve loved the series since then….so I was absolutely 🥳🥳🎉🎉🎊🎊😍😍 (couldn’t find words) when I saw there was an official english edition - which I’ve been religiously collecting in ebook format (but I’m thinking of getting the physical books as well). 🩷🩷
