As someone who exclusively heals as a resto shaman in keys, ill agree, none of our buttons are as flashy or fun as convoke or divine toll. But theres small optimizations that make the spec rewarding. Timing a well stacked cloudburst totem right after a big damage event feels good, and makes you feel like you could see the future. Min maxing your master of the elements procs with healing rain and stormkeeper chain lightning makes your dps skyrocket as a healer and feels rewarding. But shaman is and in my opinion, always should be, the introductory healer for people getting into healing. It has a lot of utility, solid throughput, and cds for almost any situation as well as bloodlust and a self rez that doesnt consume a brez.
idk if you know this but ancestral guidance, is your biggest HPS CD on a 2min cooldown, it does in sane hps paired with cloud burst its really good. you rarely use it, I used to forget to use it as well, and would use my healing tides, or ascendance, which are both 3min cooldown with less value (imo) ascendance being obviously on par... but longer cd. but in situations where you think to press ascendance, you should try to use your ancestral guidance first. thank me later :D

“Thunderous Paws” nice talent for that entangle, ghost wolf removes it every 20 secs. Saves moving.
On entangling, you can specc into your spirit form, which clears roots. You don't have to run out anymore, just switch to wolf and back.

you're pinging a location to stack in, but you're the only one not stacking xD
the only time thers a "healer mechanics" is in hige end cordinated play where you have already comunicate what it is befor hand
The 4 set doesn't care what order you cast riptide or HW.

should remove that personal resource display and replace it with a class weakaura. takes the same real estate but 20x the info :)
