    Omg! I'm highly sensitive. I thought I was just socially anxious and depressed all the time because it's just me. I thought I just had extremely low self esteem and was too self conscious. There have been times when I just wanted to crawl in my bed after speaking with certain people. That person's toxicity will stay with me for days after the conversation. I am so happy I found this video. Thank you. Now I need to learn how to keep my positivity grounded. I yearn for eternal happiness, positivity, and a meaningful purpose in life. ❤️ To all

      @@notavailable708 Set boundaries. You need to protect yourself as an empath. There are videos on youtube teaching how. Stay grounded and focused and don't let other people's energy affect your own. Be a positive light but keep boundaries at the same time ✨❤

      @@notavailable708 We need time alone to replenish our powers. But boundaries are also energetic, like not letting other people's energy affect you, something like an energetic shield. If you only give and give you are going to burn out so again... boundaries! Talk to your family, the should understand. You can't save other people if you can't save yourself first.     I’m a very sensitive person and I struggle to find people who “get it”. I feel needy and like I expect too much from relationships and even the slightest betrayal or rejection feels devastating.

    Took many years before I understood. Never fit in. So I started adapting to everything and everyone. But the more I did. The sicker I became. Also known by other people early as a little girl. But as a child I didn't understand. Also understand today why I started by trying to get rid of everything I feel. Couldn't bear it. Today 48 years later. Have I put everything out there and let all the sensations and impressions come. It was like a tidal wave. But started to get used to it. The more I go my way. The more the world begins to open up. Where I am myself. Without wearing my armor. Became honest with myself and what I feel. Can never go against myself again. Thanks Candace for your videos. They have helped me a lot on my journey to myself.❤️ My son is also hsp. So wants to be there and give some guidance. Even if he has his way to go.

    Bluetooth headphones are the best thing ever. I don’t go into grocery stores without my headphones. It drastically alters my mental state. Calms my nervous system.

    It’s been a really hard journey for me. I am highly sensitive and yes I feel deeply/intensly. I know it’s a gift but also a courageous life path because it’s hard. Getting hurt is part of this life path but so is transformation and growth. I;ve attracted people in my life who have told me or made me feel like there is something wrong with me, because of my sensitivity. It brings up lots of anger. But I consider myself gifted- I’m finally at that point. Boundaries can be hard -energetically and emotionally. I am a total extraverted introvert - but have felt isolated or alone at times. Groups are not my favorite things. I appreciate this video!! It’s very comforting and I”m glad to know someone like you is also part of this clan.

      Sunflowershowers i can relate soo much to everything you said!!! I have been very highly sensitive and gotten hurt throughout all my life! Have been on the healing journey! But what I find is that hs ppl need to stick together! We need and deserve a sense of community just like anyone else!       Same my mum especially i cry for the smallest things that make me feel bad and i get angry but my mum just says that im too sensitive and theres literally noone that helps me

      I can totally connect to this. I am a highly sensitive person as well. I get hurt very easily, cry easily knowing that no one understands me or my nature. It has been a very very hard and healing journey through out my life. Now I am at a point where I have to start appreciating what I feel weather its a mood swing or my likes and dislikes are different then others. Now I understand that being a highly sensitive person is a gift but it gets very overwhelming sometimes where you body cannot keep up with your mind or vise versa. I feel less alone knowing that people like me exists and they understand how hard it can be sometimes.

      At SOME point, in a DAY?! Haha, everyday as far as I can remember my life! ;) My body cannot keep up with my mind, and certainly not spirit. Causes havoc, sadly, and that's what I'm healing right now. Trying to "come down" to the body, even though the chronic pains and more symtoms that built up over time are so very present.
      Too much at once, all the time. But when in "connectioN", these things do decrease and a full sense of euphoria and so on can take its place. The "goal" is to be at that precious state always! :)

      yes I do! I feel like I need to write e v e r y t h I n g down. from my feelings to what my day is going to look like.. what I want to be learning and reading for the day or week or month.. etc. and that helps me SO much.

    I’ve had problems with my sensitivity my whole life. Including having anger issues when I feel I’m being disrespected. I know it’s best to let go and I’m a lot better at doing that now

    Omg when you talked about being able to feel that connection with writting on paper in a journal... I feel that way too. I even feel it's hard for me to switch to e books because I need to feel the physical presence of the book and what means to me

    Your kite example was one I've felt as well! I once wrote this... "This bright little kite who loves to dance on the breeze, can't help but love the one whose steady hands man her strings."

    Hi, I've just recently discovered your videos and feel home with them, thank you! Did you read The Answer from Allan & Barbara Pease? In their book they explain the handwriting importance connection. Let me quote briefly: "When you use a keyboard to type, it only involves 8 different movements of your fingers and this uses only a small number of neural connections in ur brain. Handwriting can involve a range of up to 10, 000 movements and creates thousands of neural paths in your brain." This explains why you become more emotionally involved when handwriting. Beautiful! :)

      Yes, I agree! I am always having to explain that I love pen and paper. I love to write things down and detach from technology. This connects me, relaxes me and gives me joy.

    Doctors gave me a variety of medications throughout my lifetime to remedy what were perceived as problems. Depression and anxiety were always at the root. Everything is always so loud, and conversations with others are emotionally grueling. I started looking for the cause, then reading and learning, and then, devouring information. I was awakening. The knowledge gained gave me the confidence to believe, listen, and act upon my higher intuition. I can feel and change the energy from a group of people, but not separate individuals. That even sounds nuts, which is why I only share it with like minded ppl.
    Thank you for helping me embrace what makes me unique. 😁

    Wonderful video, thank you, Candace! I am highly sensitive about everything, lights, music, all that matters so much for me so in the restaurants I sometimes try several tables before I find the most comfortable, the same with music in the car and etc. People as I noticed do not understand this usually, they think I am probably spoiled or eccentric, and its impossible to explain how all this has really a lot of strong influence on me, on my soul, state of being and mood. I feel totally different when lights are too strong, music too loud and harmful, and if I could not change that I feel upset that I could not be relaxed at this atmosphere. Be truly myself, soulful and then it causes the stress of not be able to give all the bright and positive energy as much as I would give usually in another, more comfortable environment. I also love journaling, it really helps with all my emotions, it helps to see situations from another points of view, find new solutions, and makes more space inside, brings much more calmness in my mind and soul. Sometimes it seems like its not me who writes, but some spirit of wisdom, it feels like a miracle) That's a very great advice to have this practic in our lives. And I think you might be right, that with pen its much more spiritual connection, I also switched to computer, but after your video I decided to come back to pen and check what is actually best for me. Thank you, dear Candace, you are so pretty and gorgeous:) I am very happy to find your channel❤

    I’m very misunderstood by my high sensitivity.. I consistently percibe my environmental yet I had to learned administrate and to maintain balanced and peaceful mind . Takes Process and writing.....thanks for your videos ! I see myself doing it in Spanish . Prayers

    I'm 60 years old and I'm just learning about this. I just always knew i was highly sensitive and I've always told people that it felt like "my nerves were on top of my skin". Now I have fibromyalgia, Trigeminal neuralgia and other nerve related illnesses. Now I'm having severe anxiety and depression because of serious family issues, including narcissist husband of 35 years. It's good after all these years to know im not crazy.

    Great video.... things I thought about but never truly explained it why i did this or did that as a kid, and now as an adult....i should be re kindling what I did naturally as a child , which actually did help. Journaling ....and actually writing it out not typing....to connect again....or heal.... either way thanks for sharing this video.

    I tend to obsess about what others need, and forget that I need to write and sing and create. Yesterday, I was depressed all day, until I belted out Evanescence songs in the shower. Then, I slept naturally at night. :)

    Again, right on with so many points in this video!! there have been so many "narcissist" & HSP videos out lately that for me, an HSP it's actually draining to watch- im sure they all have super insightful info but I prefer these types of vids that just give tips on how to thrive.     You are so correct, I could never get this through to my X wife.. she just didn't understand why I didn't want to sit next to her at softball tournaments for our daughter etc... I was usually sitting away from the crowd because there was always a lot of noise and so many emotional vibes from upset parents and negative vibes from various people gossiping about team drama... 😣.. I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS, ITS LIKE YOU ARE READING MY MIND AND MY FEELINGS AND IT FEELS SO GOOD TO KNOW YOU UNDERSTAND AND THERE ARE OTHERS LIKE ME AND I AM LIKE THEM, WE ARE ALL A GIFTED FAMILY ..!!

    Hi Candace, I swear your videos are coming just in time, everytime! Talk about synchronicity :-) Today!!! I told my sister that sometimes I feel like my senses are way more sensitive than "normal", especially my hearing! I mean, that's cool of course, but it can also be very exhausting... so exhausting that I feel like there are moments that I need to be alone and in complite silence :-/ so yeah... just wanted to say that there's a great reliefe getting to understand myself better through your videos, so THANK YOU X1000 ❤

    Candace, this was suppose to be the week I go through the six weeks of soul lab. However, after explaining the details to my son he insisted we get his processor and motherboard for his computer on Black Friday because he can get the combo for a good price.     Great video. Thanks. For most of my life I've felt that being highly sensitive is a curse. I'm slowly starting to see that being highly sensitive is a gift. It's hard to do though when a large percentage of the population values gregarious personalities.

    I was feelin sort of alien when i saw others were not sensitive the way i am usually around me and i was feeling like i needed to speak up for what i need. That it is valid even if it is different than what others need. and my intuition was like -

    Right on, girl! Such great advice. Curious what your thoughts are on feeling guilty for needing so much processing/alone time. I know I need it and always honor it but have to admit I feel guilty sometimes for having that privilege when I know so many people are starving for the same.

      Giiiirl I hear you! Ask yourself why you would have guilt for having a gift? That’s the old paradigm. Your example will encourage others to manifest it too! Instead of guilt think about yourself doing it for the benefit of ALL!

    thank you so much, this really shed some light onto some misunderstood parts within myself. i now understand more clearly that alone time on a daily base realls IS a MUST!! wish i was aware of it during my intense 24/7 relationship, now it is too late ;( but will know forever in the future! thanks again! amazing work you are doing
