OMG, Micro scale is AWESOME!! They should start making all sorts of vehicles, rally, offroad, trucks, tractors...
And someone should also make and start selling micro tracks/courses/circuits/diorama cities in "easy to set up"/flip/"pop-up book" form! It would be great in any living room, or over any dining table... who needs board games anymore :D
TM Prod same thing i said, maybe have the micro rc cars have different mods too, easily taken apart to replace the brushed motor, different stages of motor, drift, drag, rally motors. Maybe add a fpv system w goggles for the ultimate driving experience, w real life looking miniature tracks.
They do make all sorts of different models. Look at some of monsterchannels24s other videos.
@@TheBiigBadWolf YES! :D How awesome it would be to drive a micro GT car, with fpv, through a diorama circuit replica of the Nurburgring, or Spa-Francorchamps, Sarthe, Suzuka etc... like a bigger version of the slot-cars, with fpv! :D
Or if someone's not into racing, imaging driving a military truck or tank through a WW2 diorama scene, or driving the Pope's car through a Pop-up version of Vatican, Rome, colosseum etc...
If you already have a large diorama train layout, add streets and stuff, and imagine running a red light and being hit by one of the trains :)) Or play tag, "rob" a miniature bank and getting into a police chase :)) Damn, the more I imagine, the more I want! This would be awesome! Endless possibilities, infinite fun!
Forget the pool table in the basement, build a modular micro-city, like the movie "Downsizing".
I hope some manufacturer is reading this! There's clearly a demand, and this is brainstorming at its best :))

I'm 27 but I still have these cars, I bought them for myself I play them. Not Because my mind is childish but I really like them I pass time with them when I'm alone.
No need to apologize for what you like friend :) There are millions of us around the world that love the world of miniature. Think of all the model railroad guys who put years of labor and love into their basement/attic layouts. Most are well off, or well off and retired.
Myself, I have a huge collection of 1\87th diecast vehicles and still growing, and I'm 56. ;) I've looked into RC conversions kits for these small cars, and they are reeeeally expensive !

When I was a kiddo, we actually had a red 62 volkwagen transporter van. And my dad also set up aurora thunderjet 500 slot car track in our basement. We had HO scale jaguars, mustangs or other cars with the track garnished with little paper pennants on toothpicks. This video makes me so nostalgic. I miss my dad and those days. Nice video!

i remember another micro rc that came out many years ago. i paid 35$ for it.....later went to California swap meet to find the same ones for 8$. the price on these is really phenomenal

Going from slot cars to RC. Unlike video games, you still have physical contact with your toys and hence a grounding in reality.
The same with model railways and trains Vs PC simulation
Yep. I tried a train simulator but got bored pretty quickly. Models and miniatures have a "cool factor" that nothing digital can replicate.

I drove one of these in my first 2 years of college at Oregon State. Same color but it had side windows and a back window I think. Not the tourist upper view windows. Just the standard same green colored model that was a bit dull due to oxidation in the Sun and rainy Oregon weather exposure.
I’ll bet we overloaded it by at least 500 pounds but we would make it over the freeway mountain passes in first if we didn’t get a good run at it.
This was in 1976-78. 55 mph was the maximum speed on all freeways and highways in the the US. Thanks to Gerald Ford trying to get Americans to save gasoline after the 1973 OPEC fuel embargo. It didn’t work. OPEC did it again in 1979.
The law remained until 1987-88 when rural limited access freeways were allowed up to 65 mph. In ~1995 the speed limits reverted to the states and now most freeways in the West are 70-75 mph.
I loved that Volkswagen van. I learned years later that all VW models used the same chassis. Just different bodies. Beetles, Vans and Trucks.
I’d love to find a nice one today in that color. It would be my SHTF “prepper” vehicle. Virtually EMP proof.
Seriously. It was just a fun vehicle to drive. And had cool looks.
