Wäre interessant zu wissen was so ein Model bzw. die Technik im schnitt kostet
Kommt drauf an was verbaut wird und was gebaut wird. Herpa LKW 20€ - 50€ je nachdem was man für einen LKW bauen will. Die "normalen" LKWs sind für gewöhnlich billiger als LKWs von Firmen oder Sondermodelle, RC Komponenten sprich Motor + Empänger + Servo/Lenkung ca. 100€+ da ist nach oben recht offen. Man kann Allrad verbauen was dann dementsprechend teuer ist, bei der Beleuchtung gibts 2 Möglichkeiten entweder man verdrahtet die LED selbst oder kauft fertig verdrahtete LEDs. Bei den fertig verdrahteten kann man mit ca 1€/LED rechnen. Dazu kommen noch Reifen aus Gummi, die Plastikreifen von Herpa sind zwar wunderbar für ein Standmodell, aber zum fahren recht ungeeignet. Dazu noch diverse Elektronikteile wie Schalter, Ladebuchse.... Man kann ca von 150€ ausgehen für einen Fahrbaren LKW mit der standard Beleuchtung. Möchte man Sonderfunktionen haben z.B. Kipper wird es dann noch mal teurer für die entsprechenden Motoren.

*I said truck because I do not know if I should get an Iveco Stralis, Scania S/R series, or a Volvo FH16, or MB Unimog.

Racer_767 dasmikro makes em for about the price of a good die cast, a soda can car and some LEDs and wire so just get one
Plus you wouldn’t be able to do suspension or really any lights due to the risk of the die cast cracking or chipping and the body would overheat the motor

Any one figured out how the arms on the various loaders work? The shape of the hydraulic cylinders used on the real "toys" are represented and the "ram" arm is there, but there is no indication of a gear drive as commonly used on small scale vehicles.
Roger Roberts well for the most part it is a worm gear with a long threaded shaft that has a threaded covering mounted to one side

These are motorized showcase models, mostly Herpa. There is a channel with some tutorials, but it's ind German language. It's called "Der Theoretiker".
There are some ready to run 1/87 RCs, just ask google for Carson 1:87 RC.
