1:24:00 Nice to know someone else has a similar opinion on this guy haha. I can appreciate the amount of people he has helped and I don’t want to undermine how lucky he is to survive and tell his story, but I always disliked how sometimes his story is used as THE be-all objective answer. Suicide prevention in my earlier school years was just playing that guys video on a projector. I dislike how those old motivational videos with intense music don’t leave much room for deeper thinking. I think the suicidology behind suicide is much more complex than how those surface-level vids make it, and I believe this podcast is great at emphasizing that.
