I loved the scence when the daedalus just sat there and tanked the hive ships at the start of season 2. Sure she eventually gave way and had to flee but boy, those asgard could build shields.
I never understood why if they've been able to incorporate pretty much every other tech they find into the Daedalus why not grab a stealth field generator from a puddle jumper and install one of those too (they managed to do it with atlantis and that's substantially larger), granted they'd lose shields for the duration but imagine the usefulness against capitol class ships like wraith hives! You can't target what you can't detect and since they have site to site transportation tech as well the enemy wouldn't even know what general direction the "shot" came from.
+Rikard Nilsson and of course, they WOULD know where the shot came from, both Wraith and Asurans sensors are good enough to detect shot origin, so after first Daedalus' shot, they would immediately know where they have to shoot and since it takes some time to switch back from stealth to shields, Daedalus would be fu*ked up in less than five seconds
Can somone tell me from which episode the footage at 4:30 was taken from? I only remember the Korolev been destroyed against the Ori, but none other of the 304s by the means of Kamikaze against a Hive.

I love the BC-304 Class. I am so sad that we will probably never see more of them.
after it received numerous asgard upgrades it became very capable :) love it
I love the ship because it was not too big or too small it was just the right size for a long range mission while not needing too much to man it.
