The ecoegg is actually used instead of laundry detergent in the washing machine, it‘s not for the dryer! It also says so on the package. It’s an eco friendly way of washing since it doesn’t require any laundry detergent or fabric softener as it cleans with the use of mineral granulate! I hope this helps you to use it correctly 😊😊

I like the tree in the kitchen but it seems hidden and tucked back in the corner. I think the tree would look more substantial if it was on a platform, box, or one of the creates you had for fall. The a blanket could cover whatever base it is standing on.
Also, have you considered turning the table vertically fo the holidays to show the length of the room?

I’m definitely making some sausage rolls tomorrow!! When you make them next time you could try turning them upside down, so the fold is on the bottom. Then bake them😊, that normally stops them from opening up when I bake mine. X
Everything looks so lovely and festive! I leave decorating until closer to December because I need the novelty of exciting new things closer to Christmas- I find if I start too early the novelty wears off and all that's left by the holiday itself is the stressful stuff. But I absolutely adore admiring other people's decorations who put them up on the earlier side!

I think keeping the tree in the dinning room not decorated with only the warm Christmas lights, a simple tree topper, and a beautiful tree skirt will make it be less crowded but so perfect 😩 I always love your Christmas content Gemma 😀

My autistic son sings Christmas songs when he's happy. He's having a bad time at the moment so we've had the Christmas CD on for the school drive since he started secondary school in September 🤭 we try and start the day off happy.

For the coffee table in your living room, you should get a shallow wicker basket with a candle in it and small natural coloured reindeer (you can get them in B&Q and also in Matalan)! xx
I understand what you mean with feeling anxious about too much holiday decor and it looking cluttery. It is like a Christmas explosion at my house. So many of my items are family items that we've set out each year forever, so there is guilt if I don't set it out. I breath a sigh of relief when it is put away after the season.

Great video and some gorgeous Christmas things. I make sausagerolls alot and the best way is to put the join underneath , that stops them opening and remember to egg wash around the sausagemeat too so the pastry closes easier. also, I take all the skin off, mash the sausagemeat and it makes it easier to put on the pastry. x

If you leave the onion in the fridge it takes away a lot of the strong smell that causes you to cry, or if you don’t have time put it in refrigerator try cold water first cut off the ends on both sides then put it in cold ice water it’ll help a lot with the smell and cause you not to cry or at least not as much lol.
Hey lovely! Coming from a chefy here 👩🏼🍳 … just a tip for your sausage rolls. One try putting the sausage meat in a piping bag and piping it slightly to one side, then fold over the pastry to seal it and twist to make a little crust, then just score the top. They won’t pop open and it makes them look cute!

I loved this video Gemma! I make sausage rolls all the time so my top tip would be to egg wash where you join the pastry. This will act like a glue 🙂. Everyone loves my sausage rolls that have whole grain mustard and apple sauce in, they are soooo yummy xx

The kitchen tree is perfect, the reflection in the glass is one of my favourite things.

Just a thought but you could place your kitchen tree in the space between the chairs and the table right up near the glass door. That way you would see it full on as you walk into the room and your kitchen is big enough to have it there.

Loved this and seeing the Christmas plans. The sausage rolls look delicious. To stop them splitting open turn them over before baking so the seam in the pastry is underneath. Sausage meat and red onion chutney would be lovely too…..definitely going to make some x

Gemma you should have sealant the sausage rolls with the egg mixture that’s what I do when using that pastry. Love all the decor ❤️

think I'll be trying out some homemade sausage rolls! I love my slow cooker and I've also just got myself a nice casserole dish with a lid which is another way to do it - I like that it's a bit of an in between from the slow cooker and the hob, a bit quicker but you can still leave it to cook by itself while you go and do stuff around the house x
I think the tree in the dining area will turn out beautifully you have the gift of making things look gorgeous. The tree in the living room is gorgeous even without anything on it . The sausage rolls is something I definitely want to make I make sausage meat cranberry stuffing at Christmas it's delicious. I am in love with the raindear family they are so cute . Has Teddy bun at the top of the tree yet to see if he can find santa lol

In America we make sausage balls for Christmas ! You should try them. It’s ground sausage mixed with cheddar cheese and biscuit dough. They are so good. I could eat a whole batch by myself.
