    Your presentations are excellent. I've been watching several of them to refresh or have a first contact with management concepts and models and really like what you have made available on youtube. Cheers!

    Thank you for sharing your video. I have watched a few videos on using the Fishbone Diagram; yours is a favourite. Your explanations & use of language are clear, straightforward & unambiguous. I want to share this video in a workshop & one of the reasons I favour your video is that it is ideally suited to our target audience (a mix of skill levels & participants for whom English is a second language).

    Super helpful. A little recommendation, when you talk about the 5Ms or 4s, it might help to list the, in the pinned comment or put the list on screen on the video.

    I'm new to the Fishbone diagram. From your explanation, I concluded that we could brainstorm using 5 whys all the possible causes then we continue by arranging the causes as the major categories' branches. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    This would have been more clear on Step 3 had you listed under System, "Ran out of Memory" as you proceeded to do your 5 Whys.

    For complete novices like me, I wonder if it is useful to walk through the process in optimal/suggested sequence? I find free-form brainstorming/mind mapping far faster prior to categorising, whereas when trying to think of ideas and categorise simultaneously, the rate and depth of insights tends to diminish?

    • @briceoliver6829
      @briceoliver6829 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's all in the facilitation, if the team are fast to generate potential causes, that's great. The categories are there to help draw thinking if it becomes difficult for people to have 3D brainstorming
