This song breaks all barriers to the quantum field and I am transported energetically to the cosmos conscientiousness. Thank you! Through this song, I've become realized to the purpose and meaning of life through this incredible original song by these musicians!!!! (release of a tragic breathe of a cruel humanity!)

I can't believe I am just listening to them and I can't believe so many people still haven't heard them yet. And I mean getting music like this? In 2015? It's impossible yet here it is. They are literally awesome.
+LocalMedia lucky, I'm 19 and the only one that listens to shit like Bob Dylan, Alabama shakes, old crow medicine show, Jimi Hendrix, and a LOT more. It sucks, they all want EDM and trap rap.
i can't stop watching this. when i wanna get inspired i always come back to it to. Just this perfect mixture of soulfulness and technicality and then that sort of alternative rock blues feel..Not to mention her powerful personal lyrics. Her and her band are definitely those type of musicians that I aspire to be like.
This band brought music back. These guys are doing something invaluable, and im not sure they know it. They have given rock a new life inside a new host (this generation). Radio waves are so saturated with such basic music, and it has infested all of us; we forgot that music is not only suppose to make us feel good, but also enrich our life and intelect with its lyrics and complex sounds. This band brought all those things back to us and I am f&*ing grateful for that!
Sure enough!! Popular music is even beyond basic lately it's garbage written according to one of nine or ten blueprints. Hopefully more real bands will become relevant on a larger scale.... even computers can produce beautiful, unique sounds infinitely, so why does all this electronic, sampled noise sound nearly the same? Don't even get me started on she who will NOT be named and her fistful of basic chord progressions.
I could stay all day listening and repeating this song for weeks! I’m such a pentatonic lover, and this is the nicest song I’ve heard with all pure pentatonic scales
+Saitama Sensei I know every generation says the same thing, but today's music is absolute rubbish to the nth degree. Have you actually listened to some of the lyrics? Here is a sample of the lyrics from songs in the top 10 on Billboard: "Dry! ...me a desert him, Nuh time to have you lurking, Him ah go act like him nuh like it, You know I dealt with you the nicest, Nuh body touch me you nuh righteous, Nuh badda, text me in a crisis" "Welcome to my duck off the crib, the spot, the pad, But my house is your house if you throwin' it back, Excuse me if my home bringing the sad, Soon as these happy faces land you can run with the cash" "Oh, I'll be your daydream, I'll wear your favorite things, We could be beautiful, Get drunk on the good life, I'll take you to paradise, Say you'll never let me go" There have been some real gems, especially in the top 40/RnB/Hip-hop genres.
In my humble opinion, the exceptional songwriting, lyrics, originality, musicality....they're all icing on the cake. The grooooove on this track alone is just infectious!
Perusing music on TH-cam and stumbled upon this group. I am blown away. Brittany Howard's voice and style are phenomenal. This group is a keeper. Looking to buy a CD now. Love 'em!
Okay when a woman takes her shoes off to sing you know she means business. That's what I love about Britney. She's beautiful but she comes to sang and give her all in her performances. True artistry right there.

Alabama Shakes was my first concert, May 1, 2016. Best fuckin' experience as I was standing in the very front row of the SunFest Ford Stage at West Palm Beach. I'm only 32 years old but it's a big deal for me seeing a woman, especially a Black girl rock. It's a positive representation of what we ladies can do and that realness still exists. Thanks, Britt! You ROCK.

@sevchyk You can talk crap about her, her body, her physical appearance, etc. all you want but that doesn't stop her from having amazing talent and amazing soul. Same goes for people like Adele, Aretha Franklin, Israel Kamakawiwoʻole, and so many more. A person's talent and general worthiness stretches so far beyond their physical appearance, it might do you some good to realize that.
@AllDayStaci Proving it's NOT OVER when the fat lady sings. Seriously that term about things being over fat ladies singing needs to be put to rest and die, because Brittany Howard is the first female musician I can say is worthy of admiration, second being Aimee Mann. Brittany is definitely a beautiful woman though. Personality has always drawn me to music.
What I like the most about this video, besides the amazing music, is that it is all one long shot. Too many videos these days are constant cuts in and out of different scenes. This was awesome, the cameraperson went around the whole room and focused on everyone a little bit. Very cool.
Her voice is like that of an angel!!! And this bass... God!!! It is so simple yet gives a whole different atmosphere to the song. I really love this song, I first listened to it while on a fucked up moment of my life, and I listened to this song on a daily basis, back then. It wouldn't remind me of all the shit I passed but, the feeling I had once everything calmed down. Love this...
She is so freaking raw, the rage and irony just seeps out of her. Fantastic backing by the band. Before you go kick the dog, listen to this. It's a good vent.
