Please note that the button to swap between ETTL and Manual also acts as TCM so you can use it to convert the TTL shot to Manual Settings. Thanks to Brian Williams for the question!
So..do you prefer the V1 or the V860?
Can you activate that "focus led" when AF? And what are the two different types of icons for led? Did you found out? I didn't...
is the V860 compatible with Canon EOS 250d?
Thank you
Thanks for the video Luis, quick question. On the V1, if I fire off a shot in TTL, I can press the TCM button to convert that TTL power to a manual setting. Do you happen to know if the switch on the side of the 860iii would do the same? (and change the TTL power to it's manual equivalent?)
Well well well, I just tested it and it WORKS! I really like that and wish I had noticed it to mention it on the video. Thank you! :)
@@LuisGabrielPhotography Thanks for checking for me Luis, appreciate it!!
Anytime :)
Do you use the white reflector at all on the V860iii?
@@kristaldouglas2589 I don't use it that often to be honest. I normally use it more as a rim light or bounce from ceiling
i just want a good flash to put on my camera and every time i snap a picture it looks really good. i just want to mount the flash on top of the camera and go from there i think TTL is the vest way right. and do i need a diffuser so i won't blind nobody right
This flash is very good. You can always bounce it if indoors. Outdoors I wouldn't bother with a diffuser since using it as fill flash it won't bother people
@@LuisGabrielPhotography so luis if i'm indoors i can bounce the light but if i'm outside then i don't need a diffuser. my main concern is taking pictures at night i want my night photography to be good but i was told i need a flash. so luis school me man i'm taking notes
@@LuisGabrielPhotography so you're saying i can use the flash in the day time that's sweet
Is the V860III compatible with the Canon EOS 7D? I'm planning to buy this
Yes it is :)
May I ask how to make collab with you about the lights cause I can not find your email. Many thanks.
I will send you a message here. Thanks

i guess i;m late cause i'm just seeing this video lol well i have the 80d and i'' buy the 90d later on maybe by christmas. but everybody telling me about the 24-70 saying that's the best lens to buy especially the 24-70 from canon and tamron. i'm pretty good at taking pictures but i don't want the camera to do everything for me but i want to take great pictures in either manual mode or tv mode cause aperture mode is staring make my pictures at night look bad. i need to get my pictures at night time to look better. i know i need a flash and i'll buy one the godox 860 iii
It's never too late to watch the video 😃👍
