See this is why I wish they were playable in Halo Wars 2. You put a UNSC army and a Covenant army on one team and another Flood army on it's own team. Fight it out as both Flood armies scramble to infect on of the other armies then late game fight each other.
I gotta say,you are only half right.The flood quite literally doesn't stand a chance in HELL,but on the other side,presuming we have a keymind,the demons will be ripped to shreds by the godlike technology that we call space roads,and also,I am almost certain that the titan demons would die instantly to a single shot from an orbital platform MAC cannon.So,while infection is out of the question for the flood,survival is out of the question for the demons.I assume that at the end of the day,they would both stay on their own side of the portal for neither stands a chance on the other side

That's the difference. The Flood were defeated. Hell can not be defeated and has absorbed many, many universes, not just a galaxy like the flood. The Doom Slayer is there as a means of control rather than an end all strategy. Hell can never be defeated, only fought for all of eternity. The Flood are laughably out of their league.

Another way the Flood can lose is when a Gravemind gets possessed or corrupted. Hell has proven to warp reality and corrupt it as seen from Doom Eternal's Earth invasion. If hell can corrupt even the fabric of reality then what hope for anyone, let alone the Flood?
And the flood can infect even hyperspace somehow, so they can affect reality to a degree, but it requires several keyminds to do. Demons do it way faster whenever they are around though...

There is mention of things like the Hell knight being serious problems for the Flood, but I'm thinking of one demon in particular: the Summoner. This is a demon capable of rapid movement and teleportation, making it exceedingly difficult for any Flood form to pin them down. They are capable of projecting huge waves of argent energy capable of instantly killing regular human beings, something that could kill entire waves of infection forms and incinerate any combat forms and possibly pure forms. The Summoner can obviously summon other demons, as per its namesake, but I'm wondering about its ability to turn victims into Possessed. If this holds true for combat forms, it could turn the Flood reproduction process on its head. Now, it is the Flood forms which are being turned into demonic servants. I think this is actually possible, as the research notes on the Lazarus project in Doom 2016 mention that a corpse only needs to absorb traces of hell energy for it to be turned into a posessed, regardless of the state of the brain and nervous system. This is kind of terrifying for the Flood as while they require a central nervous system to infect and assimilate a host, Summoner's *don't.* This would be even worse if a Summoner ran into something like a Hunter. Since demonic possession doesn't require a central nervous system, would the Summoners turn the Hunters into a new kind of demonic troop?
@call me J299 @Draco Sicarius Arch-Vile was the overlord of the summoner. The Arch-Vile doesn't buff demons per se, it puts demons in a blood frenzy and is able to inject demon argent souls back into slain demon bodies, making it something like a necromancer (not mentioning its capability to control fire and time). The summoner was a corrupted human outside of the hellscape with a direct link to an arch-vile and as such it works more like hells shaman in the material plane to create more gore and portals.
@@fatalityin1 actually in doom eternal the Archvile can summon some demons, for example possessed, imps, possessed soldiers, pinkes, carcass, gargoyle, sometimes hellknight and Cacodemons, and if you only on ultra-nightmare difficulty, he/she can it summon marauders, the other demons it can't summon.
@@dracosicarius3090 Based on gameplay, yeah. But the archvile is based on both the old dooms and doom 2016 lore and once demons spawn in a new universe, argent is the connection between both worlds. Even the bfg abuses hells power and is being described as the worst weapon to use as it ripples the fabric between their universes and strengthens the dead ones magic powers. But the doom 2 and doom 3 established that hell is not a real hell, but just historically named that(dance of the devil knows whats up). The demons are just so advanced that their conciousness can't die, they simply return back to their initial form. Of course lost souls are an exception, they are people corrupted by argent energy, so that they should be able to respawn in hell, but they are in an absolute frenzy and have absolutely no idea what is going on, except craving more power for humanity. BTW archvile is an arcane being created by both fusing a demon with a sacrifice of a hell lord and a cybernetically advanced hell soldier. That alone makes any discussion with the flood null. But if you want, we can happily talk about the demons absolute abolity to travel trough time and universes.
Here's an interesting idea The Flood versus the Starcraft universe! more specifically the Starcraft 1 Terran Zerg and protoss and how they would fare against the parasite
If the Flood somehow got inside the universe they would likely infect many unimportant small Terren and Protoss colonies that would be of small interest probably as a tactic for buliding up their armies and using what they found from the people they infected and the machines they have for information. So they would know what the Terrens, Protoss, Zerg, and UED are. They would likely target the UED since they lost most of their fleet when they tried to retake the Dominion and plus it's pretty far away from the Protoss, Zerg, and Terrens to notice so that would be easy pickings. The Dominion begins hearing about transports and colonies being attacked and taken over by unknown creatures they think it's the Zerg but boy are they wrong as the Flood bulids up fleets and new graveminds the Terrens have no idea what's coming for them. The Protoss are the first to know what the Flood truly are and begin immediately glassing all infected colonies but they are too late as the Flood have speard too far and too quickly but the Protoss make their stand, the Terrens fall into chaos since the Flood have began a complete invasion of Terren space with both military and civilian transport and armed ships of both alien and terren design being used against them the Dominion fleet is not fast enough to react to the attack and are easily overwhelmed. With that Flood turn their attention to the remaining Protoss who have been on the complete defensive and overrun the Protoss defensives after they fall the Flood turn their attention to the Zerg using all biomass and military equipment they have gathered and the knowledge they gained about the Zerg they make a complete planetwide assault on Char though planet conditions are hard for Flood combat forms and pure forms, with the amount of ships and vehicles under their command they eventually overtake the Zerg however casualties are high in the process but with the main Zerg force out of the way the Flood mop up remaining resistances and continue to spread.

The zerg have had multiple encounters with the protoss for years and have always tried to assimilate them into the Swarm but all of their attempts to infecting the protoss have failed. The zerg spores could be inhaled but the protoss have no orifices (mouths, nose, anus, etc) and the zerg can also try and just injecting the hyper-evolutionary virus into the protoss, but their psionic connection protects them from that. Abathur (the zerg evolutionist) even captures and experiments on protoss prisoners, but has never succeeded. From what I know, the xelnaga (gods of StarCraft) gifted the protoss with purity of form granting them immense psionic power which protects them from the zerg infestation. After watching this video, it seems the Flood infection form attack the nervous system and then infect the host. I believe what would happen if a infection form attacked a zealot would be that the infection form would attack the zealot's nervous system but would be unable to infect the protoss genetic material, so the zealot would either be dead or crippled with his mind and sanity still intact. Also when the protoss die or are mortally wounded, they are warped to a ship or center where they would be treated and healed. Crippled protoss templars would often become dragoons, stalkers, or immortals which are both mechanical and have ranged weapons that are often energy based. If the protoss were infectable, the zerg would have already infected them.

Eventually, they would. Doomguy/slayer would eventually run out of ammo if he doesn't scavenge weapons from fallen Flood. And his armor is powered by argent energy, which the Flood do not possess. He might be able to tear even a Juggernaut apart, but his argent energy reserves would eventually run out and he would be killed, thus rendering the argument of his inability to be infected useless. Then, everything he knew would be distributed to every Flood across the planet/galaxy/universe, depending on the Flood's evolution. Who knows, they might even learn how to make praeter armor, even if they have to give it an alternate energy source. How scary would that be?

honestly. Flood infecting things is their main advantage, take that away and they really don't have much. The vast majority of the threat they pose is how easily they infect things.

I'm not sure about what I'm about to say but, after the flood infects the lower demon forms, couldn't they learn the genetic structure of the demon skin while also learning what makes the demon cells so heat resistant? And then copy those traits and put them into their own combat and pure forms, basically making their own demons? Idk correct me if I'm wrong. Love the video.
It is realy hard to compare different universes... But I don't think so... Demons need Argent Energy... If the Flood can't get that, they probably cant make demons. Do the flood keep the host alive? If not, the Demon, even a lowly Imp, would just burn up the Moment they get infected. Would the Demon body see the Infection as dieing? If yes, then there won't be anything left...

Tardy to the party but it's a very weak assumption to assume the demons have a genetic make up. DNA is an Earthly evolution. Who is to say that other aliens if they existed would even have DNA or nervous systems? The hunters from the halo universe can't be infected into Combat forms due to a lack of nervous systems. Question, i was just curious about something you may actually be able to answer. Okay so Doomguy is in hell and the flood discover him in his tomb. The gravemind or keymind knows this thing ABSOLUTELY EXTERMINATES the demons and would try to infect him. Now my question is this. DOOM SLAYER fought inside hell for years without his praetor suit surviving the heat and the damage the demons could deal to him. He was eventually blessed by the seraphim improving his already near undamageable body. He literally fought the STRONGEST DEMON IN ALL OF EXISTANCE buck ass nude and with his own two fists for 1000 fucking years and then afterwards got his Praetor armor. Which is impenetrable by all means of physical damage. For the short instance where the flood wake him from his sleep to the the point he gets his praetor suit on, Is it possible for the flood to infect The DOOM SLAYER?

But you're forgetting how the flood evolves according to their enemy so I think they could potentially build up some kind of resistance to heat or argent energy. Also wouldn't the flood have access to nova bombs as well?
The forerunners and covenant always fought them with heat, and they didn't evolve so that's propably a weakness they can't compensate, they're rotting biomass after all.

Good video, but you're forgetting one key aspect of the flood. It's ability to learn and change to fight the enemy. If you notice in Halo Legends, the Forefunners weren't fighting tanks and juggernauts. Infection of lower-tier demons could potentially lead to the Flood finding out how to control argent energy and use it to modify themselves as a whole, like how the legkolo(butchered spelling) work in scarabs and fuel-rod arm cannons.

As stated in this video and others, they can infect anything with armor or other coverings that are weaker than titanium, that don't have excessive internal temperatures, and don't have some way to filter the air of Flood spores. It doesn't matter what the memes say, they don't supersede fact.

Not possible. Doom Slayer is revitalized every time he absorbs argent energy(basically by killing demons he absorbs their life force) so basically he's just as not as demons. Not to mention that his armor is way more stronger than MC's.

The demon had absorbed unprecedented of universe, so a halo ring fire would only scratch a small portion of hell. Beside that i wonder how they would even able to transport a halo ring inside hell and fire it without horde of demon teleport inside the command center to stop it.
With how massive Hell is, that is the equivalent of launching a single firecracker in a massive yard. Yeah, it'll be a spectacle for a moment but ultimately useless because the guy you just threw that firecracker will have a few choice words with you.

Sir Mattomaton flood bodies bro, if they were able to defeat basically god they can beat the demons in Doom. Literally the original Doom marine was a regular man with a pistol mad about his bunny dying and got rid of all the demons from Mars alone. The humans in Halo have fallen from space and kept fighting, walked through buildings and rocks like nothing. Thrown tanks out of their way when they were blocked and so fourth and that's the weakest versions of a Spartan. The better ones can run up to speeds that burn the ground like chiefs old friends, they can definitely handle all the Doom demons alone. Flood would decimate them if they left hell but going to hell would be a problem

You forgot one thing. Even if the Flood somehow got lucky and killed/consumed the demons. Which is impossible might I add. Then they would still lose... The last demon defeated would probably be hiding in the darkest recesses of hell. By the time the Flood get their using plot armour, thy would be corrupted by hell itself. That is to say, the Flood will become the new demons and they get to watch as all the souls of the demons they slated get revived in New bodies. We know hell can ressurrect the knight sentinel's son but as a demon. All dead Flood will also become demons. All living Flood will be in the process of becoming new demons along side the standard demons. The hell would use them to concur the multiverse because they now have Flood with Precursor knowledge as well as knowledge from all their victims. In short, hell is playing with its food as it slowly but permanently corrupts the Flood assimilates it and it's universe. Not even the Flood can save us. The Flood should have hire Doom Slayer, at least that is what I would like to say... But he would probably see the Flood as demons as well and promptly proceed to *rip and tear!* them too...
Depending on how posession works, since every single flood form is controlled by the gravemind they would need just one flood form to infect every single one of them.
The Demons essentially saying, *cannot* fully be killed. Sure you may kill a demon, but if you don’t destroy its soul, it will be resurrected as a new demon. Also we are comparing something that has (nearly) conquered and consumed an entire galaxy to something that has literally brought entire universes and dimensions into their own dimension. The power scaling here is way off and even with the Halo Rings, the Flood wouldn’t be able to destroy hell, because hell as mentioned is a dimension which has conquered and brought other dimensions into it and even if the Halo Rings killed many of the demons there, it’ll barely have an effect as hell has infinitely more forces and said demons only had their bodies destroyed, not their souls, thus allowing them to be resurrected again. Also, the Flood have nothing that can counter possession, if the Flood attempt to enter hell then if the Flood Forms haven’t been burnt to ashes by the amount of heat in hell due to the massive amount of Argent Energy, then they will be subjected to a lot of Lazarus Waves and I mean a LOT of Lazarus Waves. At this point there are two ways this can end for the said Flood Forms, they’ll either: be corrupted by the Lazarus Waves and joined the ranks of hell as demonic flood forms, OR, they’ll be disintegrated by the Waves. The Lazarus Waves also aren’t just present in hell, anywhere where there is a portal connecting hell to the said location (in this case the Halo Universe), will have Lazarus Waves pouring out of it and any being that comes into contact with it will be killed and burned (as stated earlier), or in the case of those with strong willpower, will be corrupted and turned into possessed to fill the endless ranks of the demonic armies of hell. There is no hope of the Flood winning, the Haloverse will just simply be another universe to be corrupted and brought into hell.

Got a question. The Salamanders from Warhammer 40K, would they be great at destroying entire hives of Flood? The problem is even if doom slayer has full armor and he ended up being in flood infected planet instead of Doom Hel. All he has to do is breathe to get infected.. Unlike those monsters he doesn't have a super high body temperature to prevent flood infection. Plus flood is smart af with millions if not billions of years of knowledge.. They will eventually find a way to infect or at least stop doom slayer. I don't think flood can kill DS but they can definitely infect him.

I really like watching this episode! I did have an idea on how the Flood could stand a tiny chance against the demons. I know next to nothing about the flood, and I barely know about Doom, but maybe if the flood manage to infect Imps, they could become carrier forms, spreading specially adapted infection forms which could be more adapted to the warm internal temperatures of the demons, so they could work up the levels of demons. I thought this could happen because in Awakening The Nightmare, the flood which had been stranded in the dark ruins of High Charity had that nice yellow bioluminescent glow, probably because they had been in those dark ruins of High Charity. In the novel "DOOM: endgame" it turns out that the DOOM demons aren't actually the physical representatives of hell but instead aliens made out to look like our own depictions of evil spirits during the Renaissance they last seen humanity at that period in our history
Ethan Hunter there's 4 Doom books, they are really different from the games, in the fourth book there's even an Alien Race that have fast evolution that end up desapearing from the pysical plain after being put into an acelerated computer simulation

Once the flood figure out that their only remaining enemy is like a living furnace,then would they not just have their infection forms adapt to higher temperatures (normaly this wouldnt happen, but they would presumably have a key mind or two). Also it would be interesting to see how the argent energy would interact with the hivemind. One more thing, would the plasma weapons controled by the flood ( now that they had beat humanity and presumably the covenant to) not melt through their unsheilded hides just like it would to a steel beam? Argent Energy is described as being hotter than the sun, this same energy runs through every single demons body, hell has been using Argent Energy for eons and have mastered it. Flood forms cannot adapt to that extreme heat and it is even mentioned that heat is their primary weakness due to being extremophiles (how do you pronounce it?), they wouldn’t be able to adapt to insane amount of energy the demons throw at them. This means that demons cannot be infected as any Infection Form that tries to infect said demon will be burnt to a crisp. The demons also disintegrate when they die, meaning that the Flood gets no biomass from the demons. Also, the demons can only be truly killed by destroying their souls (something which the Doom Slayer possessed which made him a dangerous and unkillable force), if a demon’s soul isn’t destroyed, said demon will just be resurrected into a new body. Also, hell is a massive dimension which has consumed OTHER dimensions, this would mean that hell has an infinite amount of demons to throw at the Flood. Hell also has another trick up it’s sleeve, the Lazarus Waves. As soon as the Flood enter hell, they will be barraged by massive amounts of Lazarus Waves. Any Flood Form that comes into contact with these Lazarus Waves will either be burnt to ash or be corrupted to join the forces of hell, there is no way to counter the Lazarus Waves as these emanate from Argent Energy, if you don’t have strong willpower, you will be disintegrated, if you do, then you’ll become a possessed and join the ranks of demons. Simply put, your putting the Flood, which have (nearly) conquered the milky way galaxy, to the demons, which have conquered entire dimensions and absorbed said dimensions into hell. The Flood will merely be an obstacle to the forces to hell in conquering the haloverse and absorbing it into hell.
We really need to actually make them battle each other in a animated fight and this fight is very interesting and seems pretty even looks like the flood aren’t the unstoppable life forms anymore looks like the demons from doom are the new most powerful organic life forms ever now

That's the difference. The Flood were defeated. Hell can not be defeated and has absorbed many, many universes, not just a galaxy like the flood. The Doom Slayer is there as a means of control rather than an end all strategy. Hell can never be defeated, only fought for all of eternity. The Flood are laughably out of their league.

There is mention of things like the Hell knight being serious problems for the Flood, but I'm thinking of one demon in particular: the Summoner.
This is a demon capable of rapid movement and teleportation, making it exceedingly difficult for any Flood form to pin them down. They are capable of projecting huge waves of argent energy capable of instantly killing regular human beings, something that could kill entire waves of infection forms and incinerate any combat forms and possibly pure forms.
The Summoner can obviously summon other demons, as per its namesake, but I'm wondering about its ability to turn victims into Possessed. If this holds true for combat forms, it could turn the Flood reproduction process on its head. Now, it is the Flood forms which are being turned into demonic servants.
I think this is actually possible, as the research notes on the Lazarus project in Doom 2016 mention that a corpse only needs to absorb traces of hell energy for it to be turned into a posessed, regardless of the state of the brain and nervous system. This is kind of terrifying for the Flood as while they require a central nervous system to infect and assimilate a host, Summoner's *don't.*
This would be even worse if a Summoner ran into something like a Hunter. Since demonic possession doesn't require a central nervous system, would the Summoners turn the Hunters into a new kind of demonic troop?

@call me J299 @Draco Sicarius Arch-Vile was the overlord of the summoner. The Arch-Vile doesn't buff demons per se, it puts demons in a blood frenzy and is able to inject demon argent souls back into slain demon bodies, making it something like a necromancer (not mentioning its capability to control fire and time). The summoner was a corrupted human outside of the hellscape with a direct link to an arch-vile and as such it works more like hells shaman in the material plane to create more gore and portals.
@@fatalityin1 actually in doom eternal the Archvile can summon some demons, for example possessed, imps, possessed soldiers, pinkes, carcass, gargoyle, sometimes hellknight and Cacodemons, and if you only on ultra-nightmare difficulty, he/she can it summon marauders, the other demons it can't summon.
@@dracosicarius3090 Based on gameplay, yeah. But the archvile is based on both the old dooms and doom 2016 lore and once demons spawn in a new universe, argent is the connection between both worlds. Even the bfg abuses hells power and is being described as the worst weapon to use as it ripples the fabric between their universes and strengthens the dead ones magic powers. But the doom 2 and doom 3 established that hell is not a real hell, but just historically named that(dance of the devil knows whats up). The demons are just so advanced that their conciousness can't die, they simply return back to their initial form. Of course lost souls are an exception, they are people corrupted by argent energy, so that they should be able to respawn in hell, but they are in an absolute frenzy and have absolutely no idea what is going on, except craving more power for humanity.
BTW archvile is an arcane being created by both fusing a demon with a sacrifice of a hell lord and a cybernetically advanced hell soldier. That alone makes any discussion with the flood null. But if you want, we can happily talk about the demons absolute abolity to travel trough time and universes.
Here's an interesting idea The Flood versus the Starcraft universe! more specifically the Starcraft 1 Terran Zerg and protoss and how they would fare against the parasite
If the Flood somehow got inside the universe they would likely infect many unimportant small Terren and Protoss colonies that would be of small interest probably as a tactic for buliding up their armies and using what they found from the people they infected and the machines they have for information. So they would know what the Terrens, Protoss, Zerg, and UED are. They would likely target the UED since they lost most of their fleet when they tried to retake the Dominion and plus it's pretty far away from the Protoss, Zerg, and Terrens to notice so that would be easy pickings. The Dominion begins hearing about transports and colonies being attacked and taken over by unknown creatures they think it's the Zerg but boy are they wrong as the Flood bulids up fleets and new graveminds the Terrens have no idea what's coming for them. The Protoss are the first to know what the Flood truly are and begin immediately glassing all infected colonies but they are too late as the Flood have speard too far and too quickly but the Protoss make their stand, the Terrens fall into chaos since the Flood have began a complete invasion of Terren space with both military and civilian transport and armed ships of both alien and terren design being used against them the Dominion fleet is not fast enough to react to the attack and are easily overwhelmed. With that Flood turn their attention to the remaining Protoss who have been on the complete defensive and overrun the Protoss defensives after they fall the Flood turn their attention to the Zerg using all biomass and military equipment they have gathered and the knowledge they gained about the Zerg they make a complete planetwide assault on Char though planet conditions are hard for Flood combat forms and pure forms, with the amount of ships and vehicles under their command they eventually overtake the Zerg however casualties are high in the process but with the main Zerg force out of the way the Flood mop up remaining resistances and continue to spread.

The zerg have had multiple encounters with the protoss for years and have always tried to assimilate them into the Swarm but all of their attempts to infecting the protoss have failed. The zerg spores could be inhaled but the protoss have no orifices (mouths, nose, anus, etc) and the zerg can also try and just injecting the hyper-evolutionary virus into the protoss, but their psionic connection protects them from that. Abathur (the zerg evolutionist) even captures and experiments on protoss prisoners, but has never succeeded. From what I know, the xelnaga (gods of StarCraft) gifted the protoss with purity of form granting them immense psionic power which protects them from the zerg infestation. After watching this video, it seems the Flood infection form attack the nervous system and then infect the host. I believe what would happen if a infection form attacked a zealot would be that the infection form would attack the zealot's nervous system but would be unable to infect the protoss genetic material, so the zealot would either be dead or crippled with his mind and sanity still intact. Also when the protoss die or are mortally wounded, they are warped to a ship or center where they would be treated and healed. He might be able to tear even a Juggernaut apart, but his argent energy reserves would eventually run out and he would be killed, thus rendering the argument of his inability to be infected useless. Then, everything he knew would be distributed to every Flood across the planet/galaxy/universe, depending on the Flood's evolution. Who knows, they might even learn how to make praeter armor, even if they have to give it an alternate energy source. How scary would that be?

Good video, but you're forgetting one key aspect of the flood. It's ability to learn and change to fight the enemy. If you notice in Halo Legends, the Forefunners weren't fighting tanks and juggernauts. Infection of lower-tier demons could potentially lead to the Flood finding out how to control argent energy and use it to modify themselves as a whole, like how the legkolo(butchered spelling) work in scarabs and fuel-rod arm cannons.
Unfortunatley tampering with argent energy only demonizes tgose that work on it so it woild juat backfire.

As stated in this video and others, they can infect anything with armor or other coverings that are weaker than titanium, that don't have excessive internal temperatures, and don't have some way to filter the air of Flood spores. It doesn't matter what the memes say, they don't supersede fact.

Literally the original Doom marine was a regular man with a pistol mad about his bunny dying and got rid of all the demons from Mars alone. The humans in Halo have fallen from space and kept fighting, walked through buildings and rocks like nothing. Thrown tanks out of their way when they were blocked and so fourth and that's the weakest versions of a Spartan. The better ones can run up to speeds that burn the ground like chiefs old friends, they can definitely handle all the Doom demons alone. Flood would decimate them if they left hell but going to hell would be a problem

You forgot one thing. Even if the Flood somehow got lucky and killed/consumed the demons. Which is impossible might I add.

The last demon defeated would probably be hiding in the darkest recesses of hell. By the time the Flood get their using plot armour, thy would be corrupted by hell itself. That is to say, the Flood will become the new demons and they get to watch as all the souls of the demons they slated get revived in New bodies. We know hell can ressurrect the knight sentinel's son but as a demon. All dead Flood will also become demons. All living Flood will be in the process of becoming new demons along side the standard demons.
The hell would use them to concur the multiverse because they now have Flood with Precursor knowledge as well as knowledge from all their victims.
In short, hell is playing with its food as it slowly but permanently corrupts the Flood assimilates it and it's universe. Not even the Flood can save us.

Also we are comparing something that has (nearly) conquered and consumed an entire galaxy to something that has literally brought entire universes and dimensions into their own dimension. The power scaling here is way off and even with the Halo Rings, the Flood wouldn’t be able to destroy hell, because hell as mentioned is a dimension which has conquered and brought other dimensions into it and even if the Halo Rings killed many of the demons there, it’ll barely have an effect as hell has infinitely more forces and said demons only had their bodies destroyed, not their souls, thus allowing them to be resurrected again. Also, the Flood have nothing that can counter possession, if the Flood attempt to enter hell then if the Flood Forms haven’t been burnt to ashes by the amount of heat in hell due to the massive amount of Argent Energy, then they will be subjected to a lot of Lazarus Waves and I mean a LOT of Lazarus Waves. At this point there are two ways this can end for the said Flood Forms, they’ll either: be corrupted by the Lazarus Waves and joined the ranks of hell as demonic flood forms, OR, they’ll be disintegrated by the Waves. The Lazarus Waves also aren’t just present in hell, anywhere where there is a portal connecting hell to the said location (in this case the Halo Universe), will have Lazarus Waves pouring out of it and any being that comes into contact with it will be killed and burned (as stated earlier), or in the case of those with strong willpower, will be corrupted and turned into possessed to fill the endless ranks of the demonic armies of hell. There is no hope of the Flood winning, the Haloverse will just simply be another universe to be corrupted and brought into hell.

I really like watching this episode! I did have an idea on how the Flood could stand a tiny chance against the demons. I know next to nothing about the flood, and I barely know about Doom, but maybe if the flood manage to infect Imps, they could become carrier forms, spreading specially adapted infection forms which could be more adapted to the warm internal temperatures of the demons, so they could work up the levels of demons. I thought this could happen because in Awakening The Nightmare, the flood which had been stranded in the dark ruins of High Charity had that nice yellow bioluminescent glow, probably because they had been in those dark ruins of High Charity. Of course, again, I don’t know much about the Flood, I’ve only gone through some Halos on Heroic and that’s it.

In the novel "DOOM: endgame" it turns out that the DOOM demons aren't actually the physical representatives of hell but instead aliens made out to look like our own depictions of evil spirits during the Renaissance they last seen humanity at that period in our history

Ethan Hunter there's 4 Doom books, they are really different from the games, in the fourth book there's even an Alien Race that have fast evolution that end up desapearing from the pysical plain after being put into an acelerated computer simulation
The Doom slayer would still decimate the demons and the flood, at the same time.
Also Revenants aren't actual demons, they are artificial, created by the UAC.

@@kirayoshikage7806 Well, the entire Revenant program was voluntary, and it used argent energy to grow the volunteer's bones (argent energy = calcium?) While also corrupting them. So the Revenant is the only artificial demon, but it still cant be controlled.

I mean the Cyberdemon was dead (at least the one that the UAC found, because the game does state there is more than one of the demons they used to make they Cyberdemon) until the UAC gave it an Argent Accumulator, and then the bones started to grow more flesh and stuff on them.

Once the flood figure out that their only remaining enemy is like a living furnace,then would they not just have their infection forms adapt to higher temperatures (normaly this wouldnt happen, but they would presumably have a key mind or two). Also it would be interesting to see how the argent energy would interact with the hivemind. One more thing, would the plasma weapons controled by the flood ( now that they had beat humanity and presumably the covenant to) not melt through their unsheilded hides just like it would to a steel beam?

Argent Energy is described as being hotter than the sun, this same energy runs through every single demons body, hell has been using Argent Energy for eons and have mastered it. Flood forms cannot adapt to that extreme heat and it is even mentioned that heat is their primary weakness due to being extremophiles (how do you pronounce it?), they wouldn’t be able to adapt to insane amount of energy the demons throw at them. This means that demons cannot be infected as any Infection Form that tries to infect said demon will be burnt to a crisp. The demons also disintegrate when they die, meaning that the Flood gets no biomass from the demons. Also, the demons can only be truly killed by destroying their souls (something which the Doom Slayer possessed which made him a dangerous and unkillable force), if a demon’s soul isn’t destroyed, said demon will just be resurrected into a new body. Also, hell is a massive dimension which has consumed OTHER dimensions, this would mean that hell has an infinite amount of demons to throw at the Flood. Hell also has another trick up it’s sleeve, the Lazarus Waves. As soon as the Flood enter hell, they will be barraged by massive amounts of Lazarus Waves. Any Flood Form that comes into contact with these Lazarus Waves will either be burnt to ash or be corrupted to join the forces of hell, there is no way to counter the Lazarus Waves as these emanate from Argent Energy, if you don’t have strong willpower, you will be disintegrated, if you do, then you’ll become a possessed and join the ranks of demons. Simply put, your putting the Flood, which have (nearly) conquered the milky way galaxy, to the demons, which have conquered entire dimensions and absorbed said dimensions into hell. The Flood will merely be an obstacle to the forces to hell in conquering the haloverse and absorbing it into hell.
We really need to actually make them battle each other in a animated fight and this fight is very interesting and seems pretty even looks like the flood aren’t the unstoppable life forms anymore looks like the demons from doom are the new most powerful organic life forms ever now
