The Elite II 92 was my first CCW, which I sold about 15 years ago. The LTT Elite 92, and now the LTT 92 Compact, are my current CCW. I agree that the Brigadier slide was useless for 9mm. Thank you for the nostalgia.

I read that the LTT Elite are ceracoated. That may be why you are seeing some flaking of the finish. My Elite II shoots low as well. Looking at some different sights for it.

Those slides sound so slick and smooth when you rack them! It's unreal.

The Elite II has the smoothest slide action I've ever felt. I'm about to buy another 96G Elite II. It'll be my 7th 🥴

Loving the collection man, I’m looking to get a new toy and I’m stuck between the LTT, M9A3, and the 92X. If you have all 3 could you do a side by side comparison?

Chevyrunner88 LTT all day and any day that ends in Y. Unless u need a TB, then the M9A3 is probably better option

I've had the 96G elite 2 for probably 20 years, Everyone I let shoot it always, & I mean always says first how smooth it feels when it cycles and how the recoil is so minimum. As far as the sights I never used them in IDPA, and yes it shoots very low with the sights. I put a RMR on it so it shoots fine now tho. I also have a 9mm barrel, just change barrel and shoot 9mm.

My Elite IA shoots low as well. The fiber Wilson Combat front sight and a low rear like the steel Aristocrat got it on point.

Can you do a compare and contrast over the LTT and the 92x? I’m looking to buy one of those two but leaning mor e towards the 92x for the price point. Thanks.

Ernie was with Beretta back then and played heavily into the design of the EliteII.

Keep in mind that the E2 was introduced in 2000/2001. Competition gun technology, including sights, has come a long way in 2 decades.

How is the trigger between the Elite II, Langdon tactical and 92x? Do you prefer one over the other?

40 S&W has 35000psi like standard pressure 9mm. 9mm +p has 37-38000psi and +p+ even 42000psi. Also it was the army who cracked M9 slides with very hot ammo that was designed for MP5s. The German army did the same with the USP and had slide cracks untill they relized that the pistol was not designed for a regular diet of these overpressure loads. As far as I know the brigardier slide was an answer to that issue caused by 9mm not 40 S&W. But in general the 40S&W still produce more energy even so with lower pressure, because of the heavier bullets. So still people report a bit more ware on 40 S&W guns. Also the mass of the slide rather reduce recoil. This is called mass inertia. Muzzle flip is not from the slide moving back.
Also with a lower front sight you will shoot higher not lower. Man you put out so much wrong information at once!

Would you happen to know if a m9a3 would fit in a 92g-sd/92 brig tac kydex holster?

Love the 92 Elite II , i scored a mint 9mm verson just before the Canadian hand gun ban. Wanted one for years, my last pistol purchse in Canada, yeah sad days with this Trudeau Liberal Government. NOW only the criminals are buying handguns in Canada. Lol
