      @@tecknogyk I think everyone knows as well as Urban on this one, he just doesn't want to admit it. It's not as if osu stopped loading the box on those 2 huge runs by Donovan Edwards. Their D simply ran out of gas in the 4th quarter, no adjustments were made, Michigan just proved to be the far better team for a 4-quarter game compared to osu🤣

    • @BowensBlvd
      @BowensBlvd ปีที่แล้ว

      I think he is going about it as that's what it is like, he may not want to say what exactly they did to give away the insight that is probably easy to pick out but if he was in the locker room he would know, he's stating that great assistant coaches make it clear what needs to be adjusted and have it known before head coach even gets in there. Which Michigan does have. Breaking down film sessions if he does it that's where he'll tell what they made adjustments and what Ohio state didn't

    The stats tell you everything. Michigan came out and threw the ball in the first half which is what Ohio State wanted to force them to do. OSU wanted to stop the run and force the throws but JJ McCarthy beat them and the OSU secondary let their team down. With so much success in the first half in the air, Michigan now could run the ball because OSU had to play deeper to watch for the pass allowing Donovan Edwards room to run and run they did. Michigan took everything OSU gave them and turned it around on them. Straight up outplayed them and out coached them too. Urban Meyer could have said the same thing but instead focused on the process of halftime adjustments instead of what Michigan did and what OSU failed to do.

    In his defense, Ohio State’s defense would never have been this soft and confused under him as a coach. His defenses were focused and fundamentally sound. This year’s Buckeyes on defense seem to have been told that they’re more talented and therefore better than everyone else. It almost cost them games against Penn State and Maryland, and eventually did bite them against Michigan.

    There were no “adjustments” it’s a 4 quarter game and ohio could only hang for 2

    Great insight on what goes on at halftime by Urban. I can't stand either team, I just came here to listen to him.

      Being told that he talks to his staff was enlightening to you? I learned absolutely nothing from this. Guys who played high school football know exactly what he just said
