Really enjoyed this video… I’m not a guy but a gal… My brother used to live in Asheville, North Carolina…He passed away, back in 1989 from a heart attack. He had been a nurse at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville. I don’t know if my brother ever did this carp fishing in the fresh water… we had lived in Palm Beach, Florida, when we were younger as kids… My brother used to go up to the north end of the island, out on the jetty, sticking out into the ocean, and he would fish there all night sometimes in the saltwater ocean… He didn’t care if he caught anything or not… So I think he ended up just doing saltwater fishing off of North Carolina on the Outer Banks… he had his body cremated and his old fishing buddy went up in an airplane and threw his ashes out over the ocean. Anyway, he was an old fisherman and loved it! Best of luck to you all… I live in Utah now, after living in Alaska for 16 years, and before that I was a migrant farm worker with my ex-husband.
Thank you for your comment, and sharing such a personal story. What a great tribute by scattering his ashes over the waters he loved so much. Utah is an amazing state too!
I have spent many hours sitting on this lake in years past. I moved out of NC about 15 years ago and stopped fishing. I have recently moved back and if at all possible I'll be back on Spiveys soon. I see lots of improvements since the last time I was there so it should be a great lake. When is the movie coming out ? I really want to see it.
There are many different competitions throughout the night. There are time blocks where the biggest fish in a certain amount of time wins the pot, there is a smallest fish of the night competition, and largest of the night as well. Some nights have fun extras as well.
I really enjoyed this, I have spent 31 years of my life carp fishing all over NC. I could go for many more videos like this .
Thanks, Corey! We are hoping to make many more.
Done watched it like three times lol
Best thing to happen for Carp fishing. It will be Huge soon.

How does this work though? It doesn't seem to be biggest fish.
