    Fantastic video! I saw your other landing in Bergen and was curious about something... Did you select reverse thrust? I wasn't sure on the Bergen video, but in this one I don't see reverse indication on the EICAS and wanted to ask. Keep them coming, looks like a great cockpit!

      Hi! Thank you for kind words! On the landing in Bergen we did not use thrust reversers. Quite often there is simply no need for reversers to be used, as the ceramic brakes on this aircraft is highly efficient. When the runway is wet or contaminated with snow, we do use revers. Also when flying to typical summer destinations around the Mideterranian Sea, we use revers to avoid getting hot brakes for the turnaround.

    These videos help a lot with studying! For takeoff and landing do you retract/extend the flaps considering the F-Bug or Green Dot?

      Hi, and thanks for watching! Sorry for the late reply.... On take off we retract the flaps when accelerating through the F-bug, and the bug is of course dynamic so it jumps up to a higher speed when i.e. going from flap 2 to flap 1. On approach my company uses more or less fixed speeds for extending the flaps. So slowing down and passing 210kts we go to flap 1. But the Green dot can also be used.

      Ikke vanskelig, men blir kanskje fortere sliten i underarmen av den type yoke =)

    Når jeg ser rekkefølgen på videoene dine lurer jeg litt på hvilken type-rating du har aktiv. Jeg kan jo se at du flyr både e2 q400 q300 og dhc8-100. Er det lovlig å fly alle disse modellene samtidig eller er noen av videoene fra før du skiftet til e2?

      Hei! For tiden flyr jeg kun E2 ja. I teorien kan man fly 2 ulike typeratinger om en annen, men i Widerøe har man satt begrensninger på dette. Så man flyr enten E2 eller Dash8.
      Det ble lagt en video av Q400 på OSL, der opptaket var fra før jeg startet på E2.
