It's one thing when you read about british raj cruelty. Or, when you hear it from someone but you see it on screen what us Indians went through , their suffering I could not stop crying when I saw it on screen .
Imagine the condition of Indians under the Islamic invaders, that was much more brutal. Whole Hindu kush mountain named after Hindus were taken as slaves in that path. Imagine the brutality these invaders did!

they captured the massacre very well and hard to believe it could actually have looked worse all those years ago. One could only imagine how Uddham Singh felt witnessing those bodies. You should try Ajay Devgan's Legend Of Bhagat Singh later this year.

Actually indian selection committee declined this movie and sent gully boy. The reason that it shows british in bad light and it will not win award dominated by western juries was the opinion of the indian selection committee

First thing that came up in my mind when I was reading this chapter in my history lesson was 'how can Indian soldiers shoot their own people?' If I were in their place I would have shot the official even if it led to my death, you know juvenile thinking but years later I learned that these soldiers were Afghan and Gurkha. British Raj were good at their divide and rule policy where they exploited past tensions between Afghans and Sikhs or Hindus and Muslims and what not. They say history is always written by "winners" but perhaps incidents like these are too sinful from them to bury.
The Soldiers were Nepali and Gorkhas. You have to understand that India is the most diverse country in the world. No other country even comes close. They won't care about Sikhs who are apart of another province. The British knew who to use and when and how exactly to create the borders when they left.

Real history: 1.) There’s NO evidence that Udham Singh was even present at the Jallianwala massacre.
2.) The horrible crime, one of its kind, was investigated for 3 years by Hunter Commission, and was condemned by Churchill & UK parliament.
3.) Udham Singh was denounced by Congress as a “madman.”
4.) General Dyer was honored by head priest of Golden Temple after the incident.
