I always find myself contrasting this movie with RRR. Both portray British Imperial Rule in India. RRR shows the British as the stereotypical movie villains whereas this movie simply shows them as simple people. As humans. And it lets them explain their side, like that one scene where Udham Singh asks O'Dwyer and O'Dwyer explains his reasoning for why he thinks the massacre was "sufficient." So it can arguably be said that RRR is a more biased portrayal of the British and this movie is a more balanced take. Yet it is this movie, not RRR, that makes one feel the _true_ nature of British Imperial Rule. The movie that actually makes us feel just how _evil_ the British Raj was. This is why I love this movie and consider it to be in a class much above RRR. In the same class as some of my favourites of all times, like _The Imitation Game_ and _First Man._
This was such a masterpiece movie in terms of cinematography editing background sets acting..Great film ...Since this movie I started liking Vicky Kaushal
Movies explain everything as we move forward with stories. So all the assumptions without knowing feels very irritating. So don’t make guesses just watch , observe and focus on commenting about events happening on screen. Just a polite request. ❤
its one of the most somber and dark past of our history glad to see you reacting
