The creators of these shows had no idea about scaling giant robots and they just threw in random numbers.... They make no sense. When you see them all together, they are all the same height.... The heights should've been revised but they never cared because they were kids shows.
The creator of this show studied the authors' official data sheets. Some authors even got to know them and personally interviewed them. And it's not true that they are all the same tall, just watching the Grendizer vs Great Mazinger movie is enough to understand. Before making judgments you should study. Thanks for watching.
@@ilvecchionerd I am not talking about the creator of this video. The person who made this video got it right. I am talking about the authors... The authors got it wrong... They just threw numbers of height and weight without making any sense.... If you watch the cartoons and compare the scaling of the robots next to people, or cars, etc... You will see that it makes no sense....
@Budgie Cat Great comments. I love all of the info you provided. I agree with it all, and that's exactly what I mean. Since these are all old shows I doubt the data sheets will ever be revised, but they definitely should. I'm a big Mazinger fan since childhood, and I always thought Mazinger to be a LOT bigger because of how he looks in the show in comparison to everything else. I think he has held like 3 people on his hand in an episode. But if Mazinger was only 18 meters tall, he could only grab one person and have a handfull. I constantly see buildings and other objects that are around 18m tall and it looks too small for a Mazinger who can dock a Pilder with a person inside. Anyways, in a change of subject, I would really love to see a live action Mazinger movie. I've even thought of a trailer for it, and a big part of the plot. Even though the story doesn't change much, it should be a little more believable in some aspects. If they made Pacific Rim and Godzilla vs Kong, they could definitely do this movie and I can die happy, and maybe Mazinger would get a fresh new fanbase.
bello! Grazie, Thomas!
Someday, in the near future, humans can construct large scale robots in quite different purposes...for defenses, exploration etc...I wonder in that time we have advanced technologies needed to be able to build these...🙂
There's a new contender: Dynazenon. He's actually a recently introduced giant robot, operating at approximately 65 - 80 meters tall, based on his height compared to Gridknight, who stands at 52 meters tall.

I remember when a lot of these characters were marketed in the US as a toy line called Shogun Warriors. I never knew that they came from cartoons.

I'm sad that these videos never include the SDF-1 Macross in its transformed mode.
I think it's because the SDF-1 is a battle ship, not a robot, I am more curious about the height of the VF Fighter on robot mode

In base a cosa quantifichi l'altezza dei mecha?
In base alle schede tecniche degli autori.

You missing many mecha name: AT, Arm Slave, VF, SPT, Fafner, 86 mechs, Valvrave, Battletech, Koubu, Xeno series, and many more.
Battletech isn't anime. In fact it took several mecha designs from anime like Macross and Dougram.
And you should have also read the description. This list was from the 1972 to the late '90s.
Ma te ne sei dimenticato tantissimi, tipo shin di go nagai, grendizer giga, shin jeeg e shin getter robot go e tanti altri
Getter robot go è alto come il Dragon.
Il Vecchio NERD ah ma io non lo sapevo
E il Daikengo?
