Nickel Creek will be at Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival in Oak Hill, NY on 7/17/14. Last time was on their Farewell (For Now) Tour in 2007. But Chris has played Grey Fox many times with Punch Brothers & with Michael Daves. Big fun. Gorgeous music.
Exciting news!!! Please, oh, PLEASE come to Dallas, TX or Austin, TX this summer! We are HUGE NC fans! My daughter, pictured on right, is learning to play the mandolin (guitar & banjo, too) because she loves the musical brilliance of Chris Thile. She is studying at a conservatory in Glasgow, Scotland and caught Chris in concert in Edinburgh as well several times in KY, USA. So glad you got back together for this collaboration. Looking forward to hearing more of the album.
It has been twelve years since I discovered This Side and I am truly happy to have the chance to finally see them live when they visit California later this year.
