- There remains many debate regarding the safety of pressure cooker. There are two models_outer lid and inner lid pressure cooker.
Both are safe _depends on how you are using it.

Go for pressure pan. Prestige or Pigeon. If u need 2 to 3 litre...Go for junior pan, if u need 4 to 5 litre, Go for senior pan.

No..not at all
inner lid is safer because there is no way lid can flip out because if lid is not properly aligned pressure will not build up. In outer lid, pressure can build up even if the lid is not properly aligned and can result in the lid flying off in case it is not aligned properly. So human error causing safety issues is not possible in inner lid cooker, but it is a real possibility in outer lid ones
Forget flipping. It has come off and gone to the other side of things and thats the inner lid story.
@@altonjesus1 in that case it means the safety valve did not melt which is a defect.
@ramaswamy K Hello sir, I am agreed with you. Inner lid is much safer technically but nowadays outer lid is also safe with many safety systems.
@@sustainableenergywithpress527 true but all those work only if cooker lid is closed fully. If it is not closed fully, then nothing works. I know some people who do not close it properly and they end up with cooker lid bursting and flying off because they habitually do not close properly. Such a scenario is very minimal in inner lid. Basically it is like car....all safety systems in car work only if seat belt used, else it fails. Like that in outer lid cooker all safety systems work only if lid properly closed

As per ur budget, if you want to buy inner lid pressure cooker, then gofor any ISI marked brand, you will get under this budget. If you want outer lid, as per your budget, go for PIGEON. But should change safety valve with genuine safety valve each year. This may keep your cooker in good condition.

Steel (18/8, 304 grade) is best option. Recently triply Steel is in market. Go for it.

very good. better than other brand like PRES.... or HA...NS....
Go for butterfly steel cooker like BLUE LINE or CURVE model.....if you want aluminum, then go for PIGEON/ PREMIER/PRESTIGE...aluminum cooker of BUTTERFLY give very bad Handel quality.

Better than PRESTIGE. My sincerely experience. Go blindly with PIGEON, but must buy CALLIDA or DELUXE model, not FAVORITE or SPECIAL model.

@@sustainableenergywithpress527 any cooker with GRS cannot burst . When GRS operates it does push down the steam which may sound like a loud sound but bursting is like a bomb .
Theoretically you are absolutely right. There are many instances that PRESTIGE make pressure cooker with GRS also got blasted. So if there is any technical problem with GRS slot, it may not work and cooker can burst. GRS present does not give any warranty that the cooker will not burst but the chance of burst can be reduced with GRS, thats all!!! I have many proof for this comment.
