your videos became much much better overtime. I a huge fan of the 2022. These ones avec very hard to follow, specially creating a lot layers in the beginning without really understanding.

Thank you! Yeah... I definitely had some filming issues in this video and in the 'rocks' video (next one), but I've reworked my setup and should be able to get great results for the rest of the challenge :D
Hi Patrick, Nope, still the original settings! I do however tilt my Apple Pencil quite a lot while drawing some parts of the grain. Tilting does increases the 'intensity' of the texture of the ink brush, so that might be the difference here. Let me know if this helps :)
I'm on android tablet using another software (sketchbook) does it matter which software, device you use? Also can I draw the same art on tablet like other artists using another drawing software on desktop?
Hello Genevieve! I'm following along your tutorials and they're really great materials. I'm more of a pencil drawer and never got into color for stuff but seeing your videos made me want to get a tablet and give it a try. And I'm quite happy with the result so far! Thanks.
I downloaded the color swatch zip file and got a pallet of 30 colors, none of which match the hex codes shown at the patreon site. I then looked at the color pallet on the patreon site and typed in the hex codes listed there which match that color pallet. However, the colors that I see in your video do not match those colors. Am I missing something or doing something wrong?
Well, I messed up didn't I? hahahaha My guess is I didn't link the correct palette, so thanks for letting me know! That being said, the difference between the hex cods and the colors in the video comes from my camera. The hex codes are the exact ones I used when drawing :)

The brush you usually use to smudge should do just fine!
In the tutorial, I was using 'Stucco' from the 'Painting' brushes :)

Did you adjust the settings of the Dry Ink brush? I don't seem to get the same texture that you're getting?

Most digital art softwares work :)
I did it myself with the Woodglut plans. I think this is the best way to find out how to build it.
