Take out 22.10 in the vid , it may affect the child’s perception of having friends in school and lose her self-confidence, it may also lead to mental health problems be it it was Consented by Jovian or Dian to allow those comments
Here is my view after watching this episode (i did a long comment previously on the same series 2 to 3 years back). Currently a doing undergrad (local U), went through the whole climb of education system -Shan Ni"s Dad You can do it Shan Ni's Dad! Slowly learn and be confident you can do it! Embrace technologies! -Arradana Raja's Mom Self directed Learning (SDL) is a free period, is okay to play, revision or do stuff you like to do. Some students use this to rest. I dont think is wrong. You enforcing studies, is not the right thing to do. But rather to teach your kid the importance of study and the true meaning of study. Like how hard to get in to poly, JC or event university. -Apelles's Mom Sorry to say this, you are a protective mom. You will not be a fixed to the student class. Be a mentor to your kids teach him lifeskills not be the person to gel together. It wont work, it might work in corporate setting but not in school. Remember they are still kids -Dian's Mom Be confident, if you wanna go school. Go in with a mindset as a new student not a new student/mom there to monitor your child. Not there to ask everything to your kid, it will be annoying. For me if i were her i will be annoyed Overall, currently Gen-Z education has evolve a lot from IPAD to Laptop etc. Is good to see that is quite similar to poly not but i do thinks a lot can still be taught such as using certain online tools. Having all this means added stress. I do hope singapore government can shift some items to online like notes to ipad rather than hardcopy
Super disrespectful of dian to be exposing jovian like that on national tv. Even more disrespectful of cna to allow this scene to be aired. Jovian’s reputation on her level is already not the best. You didnt have to publish that part for the whole of sg to see. Shes still so young. Unless her especially HER PARENTS are okay with it, i think theres really a boundary for this kinda thing
I doubt the exposure will do much negative to her. She knows very well where she stands, and she even mentioned even herself in front of the camera "I am friendless". I rather more wonder what a devastating effect it has on Jovian to be shunned like this.
@@krollpeterknowing you’re friendless is not quite the same as hearing someone say that everyone dislikes you. That’s a callous thing to say and to feel nothing about, but children that age always think their ostracism is valid and justifiable. Neurodivergent children or just children who have difficulties getting social cues are almost always ostracised in school. .
@@lucyfiniarel2347 Lucy, I don't know how old you are, or if you are a teacher or a parent. But I am quite confidently saying she has been told exactly this many times already. And that is why she responds as she did: It is normal for her, every day life, nothing new. Literally every class my son was part of had at least one "class-looser", too. And the class mates are not keeping that "secret". Actually, if nobody talks with you, nobody wants to sit with you in the cantine, nobody choses you into the team, people stand up and go to another seat if you come and take a seat in that row, etc etc etc. that is how people with deformities are created. A juvenile needs friends, warmth, social structures, participation. Because in these years our social behaviour and character is formed. To me, this is part of the reason why sometimes some kids here can't take it anymore and flip out. Was that boy with the axe a class-loner? I bet. I hope Jovian has at least an intact and loving family. This is a class were the social structures are broken. You can see it also from the incident with the drinks. Nobody cares. These social structures are broken.
This episode can be used as a form of birth control and to remind myself why I will never want to have children. The Bowen students are terribly ill-mannered. Wonder what their teachers are doing?
This video shocked me on so many levels! I did not expect the gay boy (the one at the end) to have such emotional maturity... Usually society makes us think otherwise. Props to him!
Did he tell you that he is gay? Why would you write this about a child? And this is why I will never give consent for my child to be on this type of show. You get silly people writing silly things and putting people in danger with their comments
Horrible leh.... imagine spending 9 months pregnant, going through labour, spending tens of thousands of dollars, sleepless nights for your child. And one day you decide to go to school and bond with them and they dont even wanna go recess with you because they're embarrassed or whatever, disgusting. Sad to say but most of these kids wont ever appreciate whatever sacrifices their parents made for them until its too late.
Then they have to reflect why. Why other people, often ang mohs, have good relationships with their kids. Work work work then come home only know how to scold for asian parents. 😂😂😂
I'm here because of the racist teacher at 13:33 this is a horrible way to teach race and ethnicity to kids, i think MOE need to teach THEIR TEACHERS how to approach this subject without falling into racist pseudoscience
Huh? You are the reason why my answer will not be "PC". I see nothing wrong with such question. Easily triggered people like you is why race have become a "sensitive topic". Lky have never shunned from the topic. Critical thinking > knee jerk reaction.

She has acquaintances that you can consider as her friends if you want, but if you're wondering why she claimed that.... Idk I'm not her 😅 T v T. So if any of y'all want to ask any questions ABT the filming just say it here in the comments. I don't mind :D
19:45 MR TAN LETS GOOO
"My Secondary School was quite fun" is something I seldom hear today.
My son has schooldays that are typically longer than the workday of adults.
and longer than them, are the workdays of teachers who have to be around for everything
@@peiyiinglim7517 So, that makes it ok a student of 12 - 14 years has 12 h days on regular basis?
@@krollpeterNo it doesn’t, just sad that our education system has become this taxing on everyone involved in it
@@idontbelonganywhere1136 and you know the worst?
The real job is often done by tuition centers. In the schools they waste too much time.
I was in sec sch and jc from 2011-2016 era and we didnt even use ipads in sch, only had laptops and those werent compulsory. Teeling old alr
Oh my gosh... I would love to do this with my parents. I think it would be very enlightening and they would get to know me more too.
5:32 Honestly that's a good mom right there. My parents still talk to me like a 7 year old and I wish they would start changing up into a more friend-friend dynamic at my current teenage but I dont have the courage or the authority to tell them :(
love the series. keeping it real.
if my parents heard the things im talking with my friends at school, im in for a whooping
a really interesting video by CNA getting parents to go back sec school and seeing their reactions is really funny 🤣🤣🤣
hope to see more series like this
They did a pri sch one.
Take out 22.10 in the vid , it may affect the child’s perception of having friends in school and lose her self-confidence, it may also lead to mental health problems be it it was Consented by Jovian or Dian to allow those comments
Next will probably be my parent my classmate Poly or ITE
The dad and his anxiety.
Jiayou
Here is my view after watching this episode (i did a long comment previously on the same series 2 to 3 years back). Currently a doing undergrad (local U), went through the whole climb of education system
-Shan Ni"s Dad
You can do it Shan Ni's Dad! Slowly learn and be confident you can do it! Embrace technologies!
-Arradana Raja's Mom
Self directed Learning (SDL) is a free period, is okay to play, revision or do stuff you like to do. Some students use this to rest. I dont think is wrong. You enforcing studies, is not the right thing to do. But rather to teach your kid the importance of study and the true meaning of study. Like how hard to get in to poly, JC or event university.
-Apelles's Mom
Sorry to say this, you are a protective mom. You will not be a fixed to the student class. Be a mentor to your kids teach him lifeskills not be the person to gel together. It wont work, it might work in corporate setting but not in school. Remember they are still kids
-Dian's Mom
Be confident, if you wanna go school. Go in with a mindset as a new student not a new student/mom there to monitor your child. Not there to ask everything to your kid, it will be annoying. For me if i were her i will be annoyed
Overall, currently Gen-Z education has evolve a lot from IPAD to Laptop etc. Is good to see that is quite similar to poly not but i do thinks a lot can still be taught such as using certain online tools. Having all this means added stress. I do hope singapore government can shift some items to online like notes to ipad rather than hardcopy
Wow... I admire your courage.. I would like to try too.
season 1 >>>>>
nice video
I love this
Arise Bowenians, heed the call~
wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not a terrible idea , maybe parents can help their kids more with the homework
School work has changed a lot of the years
Lol did they even thank his mom for buying drinks?
Yes they did
Finally the sec sch version
Janice went out of her way to treat the kiddos and help her son.
Thank you!❤
i loved the previous season and i freaking hated maths when i was in secondary wew lucky no more
Treasure yr parents while they still around.
These social structures are broken.
do this for everyone who opts for it thanks
I am a student from riverside sec and one of the teachers is my social studies teacher
"It's awkward for a child to talk to their parent"
Caption says everything about MOE staff retaining. XD
Ultimate uncool moments for the kid's 😂😅....they probably be the legends to talk about in 20 years time
why is apelles drinking coffeee already in sec sch?! here i am at 28, still without a drop of caffeine thru coffee LOL
i started drinking coffee in sec 2 🥲

Hahahahaha. This is hilarious.
erm 22:09 gotta remove this part before this gets popular
Hello Diana it’s her free period not your free period to dictate what she needs to do.
What is the selection process?A: CIMO
when is the next episode coming?
Just curious, which topics of the biology was tested? Haha…
“Race is what you’re born with, ethnicity is what you develop growing up.” Wrong la cher 😂
No Indonesian, they in Singapore are just Malay.
hi whats up! it’s the said indonesian that was mentioned in the video. we do infact exist!! but im not malay LOL! ❤️❤️🎀🎀😝😝😂😂
You know that foreign students exist right?
was this filmed last year?
Shan ni @?
relatable
i volunteer if there is the next season in poly !! 🤣
hi anty
Even CHR is in this. Shocking. I was an alumni from there
do a poly edition!
This episode can be used as a form of birth control and to remind myself why I will never want to have children. The Bowen students are terribly ill-mannered. Wonder what their teachers are doing?
a hard watch
Or a wake up call to the adults.
This video shocked me on so many levels! I did not expect the gay boy (the one at the end) to have such emotional maturity... Usually society makes us think otherwise. Props to him!
but not nice to call him that lah.. (no comments anymore)
Did he tell you that he is gay? Why would you write this about a child? And this is why I will never give consent for my child to be on this type of show. You get silly people writing silly things and putting people in danger with their comments

@@exxxxcellent Wow what a Karen, just shut up. You should consider moving to north korea.
how to be a bully, CNA edition. i understand a secondary school girl having low EQ but you all also same same.
wtf that's Mr Poon from ftpss ahahahahahaha my PE TEACHER
Yo riverside is my school i am in sec 1
I'm here because of the racist teacher at 13:33 this is a horrible way to teach race and ethnicity to kids, i think MOE need to teach THEIR TEACHERS how to approach this subject without falling into racist pseudoscience
Huh?
You are the reason why my answer will not be "PC". I see nothing wrong with such question.
Easily triggered people like you is why race have become a "sensitive topic".
Lky have never shunned from the topic. Critical thinking > knee jerk reaction.
10:35 why is that girl so salty? I guess kids these days can't hide their feelings
don't you have a vice chairperson
Soo many childhood trauma happening ....
