When I hired out in the 1970's none of the locomotives had AC. Classic example of PR AC. The older passenger cars didn't have AC either. The Stillwells and Edison MU's didn't have AC either, open windows and fans, train crews wore full uniforms as well. Those were the days the cars were made of iron and the men were made of wood, LOL!!😎🤣🚂🚃🚃🚃✝
