Since you also start with crystals, you can toggle Crystalline Sensors on, let a day pass, get the extra vision, and turn it off. Rinse and repeat to help with scouting.
soo incredible i played this build a week ago totally unaware it is meta or so, just wanted to have some fun. though i did it a little different: i played without adaptive frames instead superconductive and mass produced. i would never say its better just the choice i did there. as well as i didnt think of adapting my machines for different planets in the beginning great video, keep it up please bring more cool builds like this
Good Vid man - after 2000 hours I had never even thought of using Automation Settings - and the specific pop modding is a great little minmax. Would love to see some more big build vids. Interested to see how 3.13 changes things (Although doesnt seem like much will change)
Great guide , learnt some good tips about planet automation. Arc furnaces are a great addition to the game but they are unbalanced at the moment imho. I can go the entire game and not build a single mining district even with my Lithoids eating rocks for food. I swap to catalytic converters later in the game so no need for massive amounts of minerals to fuel my forges , not sure that is allowed in MP but I dont play MP so not a problem for me. I messed around with Genesis arcs a while ago and It does help with a machine empires unity but I couldnt finish all my traditions and that left me feeling incomplete.
Thanks for the great video! I've been having a problem where the pops made specifically for alloys refuse to work the Fabricator job since the AI thinks the unity jobs are more important. Any tips for that?
You mentioned that you reviewed paks game but how did u manage to do that? I wanted to do that as-well but the game save file was not in the stream and the stream was, well a little scuffed.
@Thundershock8889 Can you explain? I always get a shortage of Unity when playing with Genesis Arks. But maintenance drones just give a shitton of unity. I'm playing as DA, so my neighbors workers always turn to my workers.
@@Neckstabba you want every job do be making alloys tech, or energy, and only work just enough simulation site jobs as possible to maintain stability over 50%. Working maintenance drones for a small amount of unity is really bad compared to having those workers in tech
synthetic fertility rush with dark matter & parlament into modularity in year 2015 with 0.75 tradition and tech cost with grand admiral low scaling of tech cost from difficulty level.
@@Thundershock8889 How are you making cyborg sub races from the start? I cannot make templates as it says I need genetic tailoring tech or integrated anatomy tradition which is a bummer.
I’m doing 25x crisis at year 2300 with this build and got the most insane start I’ve ever had in a game of stellaris. By year 2225 I have 15 planets with 2 of them being from pre ftls and 1 Gaia world. About to get my first ascension and what do you recommend to pick in this case. Cybernetics, modularity, or nanotechnology?
So one thing i noticed is that Uplifting tech is costing me 7k, instead of 3,5k like in your video. I went thru patch notes and things like that. Are you playing on 0,5 tech research by any chance?
cool pvp build probably, but for PVE I don't like it. First war & I have to many planets & pops, and can't even finish modularity tree (event ended in year 30, but tree incomplete in year 40) and to low pop assembly speed in comparison to others for peace playtrought
You need enough planets top finish modularity, with genesis arks it shouldn't be too bad. With GA no scaling AI, you can still outscale almost every AI by year 35 and take them over for more planets if you need, you can then build genisis preserves on each conqured planet and get unity to finish modularity that way
good work thundercock i really liked the empire species also this was the first video in my recommended
THUNDERCOCK HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
@ 17:30 on an earlier version of the game you could fix the bug by selecting/reselecting a planet designation like machine capital or forge capital
still works
Moving pops to different jobs has always worked for me.

I had no idea the scope of the Genesis Arks. Those Unity and Influence gains are unreal.
@@jaredpierce8477 yep it's been one of the strongest civics since release, has pushed many gestalts builds to be very broken

I agree, I stopped enjoying multiplayer after arc furnaces beacuse everyone either needs a build that can rush them or has them already
What is that Mod with the Portraits? I need to know for a friend
Tasty Maid
Did they nerf the multi template start with assimilation rights for fast assembly speed?
yes Mr ThunderCock. Keep it up.
Great build vid man keep it up!

what better to do with pre ftl in this build? conquer and assimilate or get inside tech?
stupid question, +22 pops (when you have 29) in year 10 would be better IMHO)
always assimilate, ususally make them tech/energy
Hi i have a question. Why choose aquatic trait?
You mentioned that you reviewed paks game but how did u manage to do that? I wanted to do that as-well but the game save file was not in the stream and the stream was, well a little scuffed.
i got a some saves from friends in the finals

Isn't going Maintenance Protocol better? as you gain a steady supply of unity?

none, just use different species portriats
