Thanks for the video. Im kind of new to the newer patches of Stellaris and I have a question. I notice that you do not really put governors in charge of the individual planets, just the captial. Is it just a micro thing or is it really not worth it to do so at all and its just the faction leader who really means anything. Thanks
Great video. I actually really like that you didn’t assemble the build perfectly. It’s easier for me to learn what I should be doing and what I should watch out for when the person teaching shows the common pitfalls you may end up in when trying the method out. This build seems very powerful and assimilators is really fun
Not the most broken build EVER. Become the Crisis from 3.04 and a little earlier commonly would win the game by 3080 - completely. Might be the most broken CURRENT build. Oddly, it starts out almost identical to the old "Become The Crisis" build.
What the heck is "D A R Folder" or WHATEVER it is you are saying? I have ZERO clue what this is supposed to mean, and can't do templates on species at the start since I've NO CLUE what this is about? Is it something specific to one of the DLC?
Adding time stamps to these videos would be extremely helpful as I've tried following along but it ends up being very difficult since there aren't chapters and a vague outline of major events and target dates. Also, you can probably make some minor tweaks in OBS and get markedly better sound quality. Adding in an "expander" filter pass (paired with a compressor pass) will get rid of most of those mouth noises and other distractions. There are some other tweaks you could try as well if you want it to come out more "finished" instead of being in a state where you can ship it to an editor. If you are interested, I'll look up what I use at work for recording training videos when I get back to the office next week.
@@MaxHaydenChiz sure I would be interested to check out the training video, I mostly make these videos purely for fun, so I haven't added timestamps or such as that would probably make this feel like work for me. However I am interested in gradually improving the quality of these videos where I can

@@Neckstabba no, you never want to work maintenance drones jobs if possible
@Thundershock8889 Can you explain? I always get a shortage of Unity when playing with Genesis Arks. But maintenance drones just give a shitton of unity. I'm playing as DA, so my neighbors workers always turn to my workers.
@@Neckstabba you want every job do be making alloys tech, or energy, and only work just enough simulation site jobs as possible to maintain stability over 50%. Working maintenance drones for a small amount of unity is really bad compared to having those workers in tech

Really cool build man. I personally really like Lithoid Hive I always within the first 10 years of a game have at least 60 pops and then by year 100 ill have roughly 200 pops

Mute and turn on subtitles is the only way I can handle it. He has really informative content but needs to see an allergy specialist to find out what's causing his constant hacking that ruins the audio on every single one of his vids. Either needs allergy shots, needs to stop vaping / smoking (if he does), or needs to eliminate whatever he's eating or contacting to control that incredibly obnoxious hacking.
I love playing psionics and that is because of the huge pop efficiency you can get for alloy production and also scientists. Ecunomopolis foundry capital with 5 telepaths boosting and ascended to lvl10 with the ascensionist civic and you can get well over 30 alloys per pop. It is very weak early game but once you get rolling it is very powerful and imo scales very well. Excellent planets and then you hit weapons trails for a free relic world , very lucky.
Yeah lategame pop efficiency is really nice, can become really powerful without going too wide which i like alot

@@bernardtauber7026 the reason for spark of genius is to dramatically increase odds for arc furnace roll. The research speed is just a bonus

Since you also start with crystals, you can toggle Crystalline Sensors on, let a day pass, get the extra vision, and turn it off. Rinse and repeat to help with scouting.
You mentioned wanting to build an Ecumenopolis but didn't get to it in this video. Since your main pop is zero-g optimized, would you have filled the Ecumenopolis with your zero-g virtual pops or would you have imported planet-born pops in to fill it? Curious what would have happened in that scenario

I hate that Sol not saving bug. Even worse, even if it IS Properly saved, the Game Automatically overwrites it when you completely exit stellaris and get back on and start a new game with a saved Empiure starting in Sol. It get over ridden with a different starting system

Hey, i play Stellaris casually from time to time but i have been theorycrafting this build a lot. Can you explain why u chose to do those things below? - Why you choose to expand your capital with scientists instead of doing so in the smallest guaranteed world (also 100% Hab.) that you found and take adv. of the faster pop growth (through immigration)? Is the sole reason the capital designation buffs? The designation buff helps your cg management and later on you can switch your capital, making your home world your hybrid food/cg/alloys2 designation. - Do people go enmity on pvp simply cause u find other players that are willing to share comms so u can rival the empire across the galaxy and gain the buffs for free? - Why ban robotic workers? Sure it gives +5 to the spiritualist faction but *blocks* u from the robot researches, effectively lowering your potential pop growth. If the ruler is spiritualist, the faction is more than pleased (above 80 approval). In one of my saved runs, i left it to allowed, got robot assembly plants and its at 90% approval (includes +15 for being the ruler and +10 psio technology). I havent tried going meritocracy and then switch again into catalytic since it improves the economy by switching it into food based, but i assumed u do it cause u want to hit some technology threshold? Also, a small tip about the first election, you can promote the faction of the leader that u want to win the first election (usually the head of Ministry of Def), at the beginning of the game, so he gets on top of the popularity list by the time of the elections. It doesnt have to be the head of Defence, can be head of science too, but it helps if its a spiritualist one so u can keep the +15 approval even after the ruler switch.
I like taking Parliamentary System with this build and go Utopian Abundance from day 1. Would you say that this is worse than your Genesis version? To me, the Arks always felt a bit too greedy in an already greedy build.
Does look like you had 5x planets in game lol I love how random stellaris can be, that is what makes it one of the best rts games out there.
Amazing guide loved the suggestions you made and put them into practice and they worked. If I may give advice for the video editing (I myself am a young content creator) I've seen better video results keeping it within 30-45 minutes so if it's possible I recommend trying to chop it down to that general length. Otherwise amazing keep up the good work :)
Great video, I love how detailed these guides are. I'm not sure how viable it is these days but I'd love to see a guide for Techno Necro as that's one of my favs.
in singleplayer you actually can become a vassal of some AI and receive 15-30% of basic resources from him after negotiation on terms of agreement)
