Well.... its not the "original" hellsing anime. Hellsing ultimate is considered a series of OVAs. But I agree with the sentiment.

This entrance is indeed badass, but I especially love the way the Captain jumps from the Zeppelin and does some midair movements before landing like a total badass. Shame we never got to see his story fleshed out.
Hellsing the dawn shows more of him
Yea, I saw Hellsing: Dawn. The Captain was indeed a badass there too, although personally I never liked how Walter was able to draw blood from him with a headbutt. It just felt odd to me that a mere kid could damage one of the strongest characters in the series, even if he did get enhanced training. IDK.

Hellsing Ultimate was my first anime, so I'm glad it seems to be getting the recognition it deserves for being an absolute masterpiece

@@ricardomadrid4387 The first half of Darling in the Franxx is god tier anime, the second half on the other hand... well... we don't talk about it, if you stop watching it after the beach episode then it's maybe one of the best shows there is and I'm dead serious

Really love how the Abridged version has become just as popular as the actual anime.

@@VaswTs Yeah, too OP for his own good. You just know that nothing will happen to him when he shows up, makes him a somewhat boring character to be honest. The stakes were higher and there was more tension when he was stranded in the ocean and the rest of the cast had to fend for themselves.
@@PerritoGG Doesn't make him a boring character at all. He even got defeated by the end of Hellsing. He just came back with all his powers gonna and instead as an omnipresent vampire. Things can happen to him. He is just technically the main character of Hellsing and that's how it works. Doesn't make him boring whatsoever. He is well written and has an amazing backstory and development as well as amazing powers. Nobody said that the characters are dependant on Alucard, and like you said every character had to fend for themselves and proved that they could.
@@VaswTs Nothing can happen to him after the ending. As long as he's conscious of who he is he can be anywhere and he cannot die. And the Hellsing would've been entirely wiped out had he not appeared (they almost were already in the time he was away). I'm not saying he's a bad character but you know that nothing is a stake against him when he's onscreen. He's just all style.
It's kind of funny when you realize that both armies knew this moment would come. Alucard would enter the fray and the dynamic would shift.
So, basically, up until this point they were just trying to cause as much mischief and mayhem as possible. Like brats tearing up the house until Dad gets home.
Yeah that was great, the fact that he just stopped the war by showing up, landed in the middle of enemy lines and just smiled as the enemy leaders showed up with him was perfect. Dude established his presence instantly. I gotta admit though, I honestly felt the variation of hellsing abridged was badass too. Less pure presence and more the dude turned a burned out battleship hulk into a sound system and basically went, "DADDYS HOME!" Was a whole different kind of awesome. The raw level of "I dont give an eff or take any of this seriously, try and make me" he was exuding was epic.

This is what happens when Alucard goes for a REALLY "enthusiastic" walk.
This is an entrance done right . The atmosphere, the theme makes it so unique and special
I've seen many animes in my 15 plus years of watching and have so many favorite characters but I can confidentially say that hellsing ultimate is in my top 5 animes and Alucard is in my top 5 anime characters

Notice that Alucard has great muzzle awareness as he points both guns straight down so as not to accidentally muzzle flash somebody. Safety first!

Out of all the vampires in anime I've seen, Alucard is the most terrifying and blood thirsty of all. Every time he laughs, my spine trembles in fear and my blood runs cold. And when he draws his pistols, my adrenaline goes through the roof in anticipation of the slaughter that is about to commence.
He really just has this overwhelming presence whenever he's on the screen and I adore him for it.
And that's why he's a REAL FUCKUNG VAMPIRE

I really miss the original Hellsing's soundtrack but this one has its uniquely unsettling feel that I have to respect.
Bro I love both sides just immediately stop fight and focus on our boy here says a lot how dangerous they all feel he is and then he shows them how right they all are but I love this moment and the abridged parody entrance as well

Alucard is GOATed. Every scene and panel he was in was hype for me, absolutely loved Hellsing

God it just feels so weird without the Andrew W.K, it's crazy how Abridged managed to use the same scenes to create a completely different show basically. Both entrances make Alucard an absolute badass though.

What I have always ahd a fascination of hellsing...are the vicious psychotic smiles the characters have. Alucards's, father Anderson's and so on.
