I work in ableton and maschine and like them both for different reasons. Maschine I tend to think less and rely more on the hardware. Ableton gives way more freedom arranging and mixing tracks and doing more complex automation etc. Just depends what mood you in and what works best for your creativity

FAQ, A/B same MPC sample, my DAW vs MPC, the digital to analog conversion on MPC was more hyped sounding, hotter signal with secret sauce grime in there somewhere.
I’ve had every drum machine! And I don’t buy the “swing” argument. You can’t get what you need from any drum machine soon as you let the ideal go. I’m currently working on Maschine Plus… But I’ll admit.. the JJ OS in the MPC2500 is something special… I think I need to get that back real soon.
