Nathan I love these videos you have forgot more about slingshots than most of us will ever know.

The "Sparrow" fits all criteria for me.

Well said Nathan! I just picked up the Torque X after shooting on the Scout for some time now, and it's like night and day how much more accurate I'm shooting because it feels so much more natural to my grip. I can get the same setup each time. I love the Scout but I think it's a tad too large for how much i want to grip down on the frame. Might try the smaller ones next!

Wow this is kind of a shock! Somebody was actually listening. I asked this question quite a while ago and have come to the same conclusion. If I work at it I am able to shoot almost all of my collection well but there are several that I don’t have to work to shoot they just seem to be “right”. Learning the fundamentals and understanding what corrections to make have been key to shooting any frame. Thanks for listening Simpleshot.

You are very welcome. Thanks for asking.
It took a long time to get this season out there, so we're sorry for the long wait! Yep, it's different for everyone. I guess that's why we keep releasing new frames! There's one best one for everyone!

I've just got the Torque X Pro and I must say that this frame is the absolute best - feels very steady and looks great! There is also a specific way to tie the paracord so that it creates perfect finger groves on the frame. Greetings from Germany!

Very well put alot of people ask what do you recommend thay should begin with just lern to shoot somthing then decide what is best for you

Agreed, practice makes perfect. I make all my forks with the same gap or as close as possible, so I can keep one anchor height. I've evolved to half butterfly draw and a consistent anchor is particularly important because you rely on muscle memory a lot more. I recently tried a cheek draw with my favorite fork and I can't hit squat. Use it or lose it. Not really a loss given the extra power I get from a longer draw.

That's like asking what's the best pencil to for writing best selling books. Hard to believe so many people can't grasp what this man just explained. It's not about the best slingshot. It's not about the best gun. It's not about the best knife. Blah! Blah! Blah! There is no best. There's only better.

the is nicer looking, better quality materials more durable materials, but a y shaped tree branch can be just as accurate with enough practice. i'm a drummer and the same shit goes on with death metal drummers " what is the best bass drum pedal for speed" "what are the best pedal settings for maximum speed" the answer is .. just fucking practice dude there are no shortcuts

I would offer up that a poorly made slingshot in terms of rigidity could be inaccurate or imprecise due to inconsistencies. Frame flexing, bands not laying over/through the frame the same for each shot, etc. but If you’ve got two rigid, repeatable attachment points for bands, and some way of holding it consistently every time you’re good. The rest is all about ergos and looks, not accuracy.

Thank you, what do most people prefer the clamps or tuckrap for the bands I'm new at this I've been watching different videos so many I'm more confused now in a scene anyway but have learned alot if that makes any sense

Most people prefer the clipped versions of frames.

I'm interested in introducing slingshot you to my intelligent yet hard headed 5 year old grandson. He is strong for his age. Which model slingshot would you suggest for this young fella?

One question I do have Nathan is how do you stop getting your Bands Snapping after say 50 shots or so!?? ..Mine are constantly breaking off by the tie off point by the pouch I have tried varying the Elastic i wrap round it and the tightness of it but with. 7 Snipersling black and. 8 GZK Black its consistently snapping !

Is your band or your tie tape snapping? Are you tying too tight and damaging the latex, or are you maybe pulling the latex too hard on your drawback?

    • @danielgreen3715
      @danielgreen3715 ปีที่แล้ว

@@immortal.bog.wizard its the Bands that are continually snapping right next to where i bind the Pouch i wrap it with similar elastic and its just forever snapping there after around say 50 to 100 shots cheers for your advice

To be accurate you need to practice everyday ..you need follow the fundamental rules..and then you can be accurate.
