I never thought you could take a charm pack and a small amount of accent fabric and get such a nice size quilt top. I really like your binding fabric, it goes great with your quilt top.
I am have found your videos. Thanks for reminding us we don't have to be perfect!!! I'm 69 and sewed my own clothes as a teen but not that I'm retired I have been sewing table runners and napkins! Cutting has been a hugh issue for my weak arms and arthritic fingers so this slidelock is going to be so awesome for me!!
Fun little quilt project. I do enjoy hearing about "fixing" little boo boos like your backing issue. It makes me realize that no one is immune from mistakes, and we can all benefit from seeing another way to move on. Great job Fallon!
That was such a great explanation. Thank you for sharing! You've inspired me to make this as I as well have a stash of charm packs that need to be used!
Fun fun. I can picture several variations of layouts with this if one was inclined to create a larger quilt 😊. I have a few charm pack duplicates and am considering using this method to enlarge it overall. I think mixing up the strip sets sizes could be fun. Thanks for the prompt! Many times im looking for hour plus lives on TH-cam to have on in the background, but lately, I've delved into the podcasts on TH-cam about growing up in polygamy and life after escaping polygamy.
I love the quilt but I really love how those 1” Tula Pink strips look sewn with the black 1” strips. A whole quilt with them would look amazing but you’d lose so much fabric to seam allowances. Perhaps I’ll do a wall hanging rather than a full sized quilt. Thanks for the idea.
This is a great video. I want to participate in the donate quilts for Sew Yeah and I have a loooot of charm packs, even the Tula Pink one you are using in this video😃. Your instructions was easy to follow so I will be making a few of these in different sizes. Thank-you. As always your the best
Your support and enthusiasm mean the world to me! Knowing that you're joining in on the quilt donations and finding the instructions easy to follow warms my heart. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful community effort!
What colors do you usually use background, backing fabric. I am a beginner for quilting, and I always get stuck on these things. I find myself matching colors instead of using contrast colors. Thank for all your time with your videos.
So that pattern is my own design. I made two different Square in a Square blocks comparing two different rulers. Here is a link to what I did. th-cam.com/video/M9PZoa3rR0c/w-d-xo.html
I think we will be ordering some blue acrylic. I am not sure if they will be back in stock in our green... they are really hard to make in that color due to the shininess of the acrylic.
Right now I am listening to the Karen Read Trial while I sew! Let me know what you are listening to.

I am fixing to pay you a LARGE complement, you are the Bob Ross of quilting teaching tutorials. You are informative and relaxing. You are welcome,
Wow, thank you! I used to watch Bob Ross all the time when he was on tv! I used to paint a lot! ❤️
Beautiful great work.
I actually have that charm pack! I want to make this. Thank you, Fallon! Great tips! As for your question-I love complete silence. 😃
I wish I could work in complete silence. If it was quiet my mind would wander and I wouldnt get anything done!
Yup. I love charm packs. I feel like I collect them. Thanks Fallon.
I really love them! Its nice to have a whole line of fabric that you really love!
Wow… love it!
Thank you!

Quilting is all about embracing imperfections and turning them into unique features! Thanks for noticing.
Oh Fallon!! I had the opportunity to use my flying geese rulers today! I am in love with them. Thank you ❤❤
That's awesome to hear! So glad you're enjoying the flying geese rulers!
Thanks for the tutorial. Now I know what to do with my charm squares. ❤
You will love making this one!
Love your use of the last two charm squares. Such a cute addition. Great quilt pattern.
Thanks so much!
Such a cute quick quilt.
Thanks for the compliment! Hope you enjoyed the video.
My friends and I zoom and have a chat fest. Believe it or not, we get a lot dome. What better day when you can spend it with friends🥰
Oh my goodness that sounds like so much fun!
So you chat and sew at the same time? How fun!
I want quilting friends like that!
Love this design! Awesome use of Tulsa fabrics Ty dust charm!
Thank you! 😊
How unique ❤
Thank you for appreciating the uniqueness!
That was such a great explanation. Thank you for sharing! You've inspired me to make this as I as well have a stash of charm packs that need to be used!
Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to me that I could inspire you. Happy sewing with those charm packs!

Thank you! 😊
Oh my gosh I love your quilt💞
Thank you so much, I'm glad you like it!
So cute, love the striped binding, I use a lot of striped binding too.
Thanks for the love! Striped binding is the best, right?
@@sewbeitquilts yes it is😻
Love the quilt! You gave me some great ideas.
Thank you! 😊
Very very clever, enjoyed very much , thankyou Australia
Glad you enjoyed it

I think this pattern would be so fun larger and with the sizes of strips mixed up! Great idea!
Oh how beautiful. What a great way to use scraps, just cut it up to 5 inches. Scraps be gone! THANK YOU AGAIN!
You are so welcome!
Very nice😊
Thanks 😊
Meeee tooo! Sew Yeah has great live sales!
The best!
I received some of what i bought the other night!
I agree!
This is so pretty!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you think so too!
So cute!
Thank you!
I love your videos.
I love listening to the movie Moana-such fantastic music!🎵
Genius!!!!
Haha, thanks a bunch! You're awesome!
You come up with the cutest videos
Thank you Mona!
That’s great
Thank you for your positive feedback!

That's a great idea! A wall hanging would showcase those beautiful fabrics perfectly.
Turned out really cute Fallon
Thank you!
I love listening to music when sewing 😃
YT or background music. Cute quilt pattern!
Do you mainly listen to quilting on youtube or do you enjoy some other genres too?
Mainly quilty things that don’t need my direct attention. Sometimes “Karen” vids.
I like to listen to GiftsHQ Crafting Tunes Volume 1. Very catchy songs and upbeat music makes sewing go quickly.
Awesome to hear you're vibing with the tunes! Happy sewing!
Cute
Thank you so much for your kind comment!

What is the second ruler you are using to cut with??
It is called the Quilter's Slidelock. Me and my husband make them and they are available in our online shop. sew-be-it-quilts.myshopify.com/
I love the quilt behind you on wall. What is it called?
So that pattern is my own design. I made two different Square in a Square blocks comparing two different rulers. Here is a link to what I did. th-cam.com/video/M9PZoa3rR0c/w-d-xo.html

I want to order some trim locks and I can’t find them. I have ordered before. All I could find was a 6 1/2” and the slide lock. Please help.
Thank you for reaching out. All of our slidelock sizes are available here: sew-be-it-quilts.myshopify.com/collections/trim-locks
@@sewbeitquilts thank you. I placed my order.
Hi Fallon, when will the yellow fabric labels come back in stock? Will there be other colrs coming like blue?
I think we will be ordering some blue acrylic. I am not sure if they will be back in stock in our green... they are really hard to make in that color due to the shininess of the acrylic.
Did you say anything about the quilting lines? I looked back but couldn't see what color you used or hear you talk about quilting the sandwich.
1990's country and Big Band.
Love both of those music genres!
I am listening to "The Wandering Inn" audio book.
I love audio books. I will have to look into that one.
Harry Potter movies are my favorite to sew to
Love those movies! I love listening to the audio books too!
Me too
There is so much noise in my house regularly, when sewing I enjoy the quiet with no distractions.
That makes complete sense!
I watch TH-cam while I sew
I do sometimes too! I am always switching it up!
I like to listen to music when I’m sewing
I’m an over thinker so I’m usually listening to my own mind.
I have to have something going on in the background or my mind wanders and I get nothing done.
@@sewbeitquilts I’m used to my mind going constantly.
Me, too! Lol.
I usually have the tv on and tend to have reruns playing, that way I have the noise but don’t have to really watch closely.
Who needs new shows when you can just cozy up with some comforting reruns, right?
I like to listen to music when I am sewing.
Nat Geo channel or cooking
both are good options!
